  1. I think that 11AA is going to be a really tough region this year. I see a whole lot of talent in a lot of the teams. I think that once again SC will be a underdog team that will suprise a lot of people. I have been waiting for the start of this season to start for a while. I know that not only the games are going to be heated, but so will the fans. Good Luck to all the 11AA teams out there and hopefully this season will not let any of us down...
  2. I would sure like to see West Carroll beat Bruceton again this year i just don't really see it happening, but good luck to both teams as they go into there game tonight!!!
  3. I don't think that GoodPasture will win by that much, but i am going to have to go with GoodPasture by 21....
  4. David Keator from SC would have to be one of the best linebackers in 2A this season. He is averaging a little over 12 tpg. and is the vocal team leader for the rebels in the huddle. I think that Keator will win ALL-REGION again this year. I know there is plenty of other great linebackers in 2A, but some of which i don't think has had the best possible season this year. I believe Keator has thus far played with 110% all season. I am sure there are others, but that is why we have this topic... to see who all is out there.
  5. Which Linebackers in 2A do you think has had the best year this year?
  6. I have seen a little playing from Chad Jordan (Bruceton)and i would just about have to agree, but i got to give props to my boys in 2a just to put them out here. but if Derek Hill (5'10" running a 4.5 forty with 7TD's on the year) had a chance to preform like some of these other backs then i believe he would be on here, and the same of that for my other boy David Newman. ALWAYS REPRESENTING YOUR HOME BOYS FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. I am going with McKenzie in this one i believe they are a great team and will easily out match SF this week. I saw McKenzie in a scrimmage during the preseason and they looked great. I have followed them somewhat this year and from what i can tell they are still doing very well. McKenzie by 14.....
  8. Friday night will be a pretty good game as long as SC's seniors comes to play knowing it will be one of their last games. If SC comes out and plays like they did against the lackluster cardinals last week they will get it handed to them again....but if they will come out with some intensity and refuse to give up i think they could make a game out of this. I am not 100% sure on who will win this one but i will say that if SC plays to there potential they will win (17 to 14) and if they don't they will lose (28 to 10). SC is one of those teams that always have those little break downs that end up costing them really big, and if they have those on Friday night then they will chalk up yet another lose in the lose column.
  9. I will have to agree with Redneck Tiger for a change, i think that camden is the better team this year and i think it will be a defensive show down unless LC can't stop camden's running game. I am going with CAMDEN Camden:14 Lewis Co:10
  10. I would have to go with Spring Hill on this one.... Overall i think it will be a pretty manageable game that could be won by either side, but i am not a cheatham county fan at all. I would have to say that our school is their newest rivalry come winter time
  11. I hate that not only for the Milan players and fans, but for Coach Morris as well. GOOD LUCK TO MILAN THE REST OF THE WAY THROUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. I sure hated to see this for Milan seeing how they have played so well thus far. I think that they will finish off the season undefeated. SO OBVIOUSLY I WILL HAVE TO PICK THEM TO WIN.....
  13. Gary Rankin- Alcoa & (former Riverdale coach) Jeff Morris- Milan
  14. I definetly don't think that this game will be that bad of a blowout. Waverly is a tough competitor this year... I am going with Lewis County in this one, but i don't think that it will be a blowout. Possibly a 28 to 21 game or maybe a 24 to 17 game. I think that the only way waverly could ever pull off an upset or anything like that is if they shut down hatton and play extremely tough on defense otherwise than that look for lewis county to chalk up yet another win....
  15. I am going sycamore in this one 24 to 14
  16. I am going all the way with Captainhook7k on this one. Lewis CO. Camden Richland Stewart CO. and Perry CO. I think that people would be crazy if they don't attend either the SC@HC game or the LC and Waverly game. It looks as if we could have an exciting week in 6-2A
  17. I am going to have to go with SC on this one... No one cares about the standings right now its just that these two long time rivals are going to be on the field tonight @ 7:00 and it will be a great game!!!! I wouldn't not miss it, I love being in a tense athmosphere because thats when it doesn't matter how much trash you talk, the better team will win. Good Luck to both teams tonight as they once again square off for another years worth of bragging rights... SC-21 HC-17
  18. This is a huge matchup for stewart county. LC has dominated there district, and SC has to bring there "A" Game to be able to play with these guys. Chris Hatton is a major threat for LC, but he has been a little fumble happy thus far this season the All State FullBack has 5 fumbles in two games. SC has a couple of threats this year also a 1st string defense that has posted 2 shutouts in two games and a good wide reciever and running back in Adam Bagwell and Derek Hill. Game time 7:00 on Friday @ SC This will be a great game i can guarantee it....
  19. I know 2A isn't all that big,but an impressive Stewart County Team seems to have one of the best D-Lines in 2A. It is a little early to make some calls like this, but through two games already this year SC's 1st D-line has two shut outs. their second string team gave up one last friday though making them to have outscored their opponents 69 to 8 (32to0 & 37to8)
  20. Congratulations to bullard,Lohin,Moulton, and john for there awards. Moulton played outstanding in the championship game. I think that if it would not have been for him it would have been a blow out. He shot some really clutch three pointers in the third and fourth.
  21. I have to give it to the rowdy rebs also they show more enthusiasm than any other fan section in the entire district. When they were down they cheered just as they would if they were winning. Those guys really have there rebel pride!!!!!
  22. It doesn't matter if west was none exsisting in the harpeth games or not he still averages more per game than moulton ever thought about. West might not win MVP, but he sure won't be beat by jesse Moulton
  23. Stewart County lost to Harpeth tonight and Sycamore and Cheatham County were getting ready to tip off when i left... Stewart County will play tomorrow @ 5:30 and they will most likely play cheatham for third place and then the championship will be @ 8:00 @ Stewart County high school. GO STEWART COUNTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO SYCAMORE!!!!!!!!!!!
  24. There is no way anyone can say that 11AA is weak when you have teams like sycamore, Stewart County, Harpeth.... need i say more. 11AA ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!
  25. I will agree that moulton has an opportunity to take the honors, but honestly i don't see it happening i believe that West will take the award. CONGRATS TO SYCAMORE for having the #1 seed CONGRATS TO "WEST" FOR HIS 1000 POINTS!!!
