I do not think you teach mental toughness after the age of about 9 or 10 if a kid has does not have it by middle school most likely they wont ever get it. It is something that is taught at a very young age.

I think the only way they can if the play at a very fast pace game and play very phyical. I believe if they would had played more physical the last time the meet they might had won it. What I have seen Wartburg does not handle physical play very well and that is where I see this team being week at.

Did not coach in Tennessee. Thought when my kids got into high school I would let some one else coach so I could enjoy it more. Found a school with good coaches and now all I have to do is enjoy watching.

Use to before my kids started playing now I'm just a parent that enjoys watching high school basketball.

A mental tough team will do what ever it takes to win they will dive for the ball play tough D and not worry if they score as they will look for an open player. Where most Athletic team most of the time are only looking to pad their points they will try to score on their on rather than pass to an open player not all the time but most time and you wont find to many dive for a ball or play great D. Just my thought I would take a mental tough team any day over an athletic team any day.

It is how your coach is if they are understanding and you bring it to them as a question they might not make it harder on them but then again you are correct most coaches do not like it when a parent says something to them they think their gods and only they know whats best. So to answer question? does she play alot or does she sit the bench that might make it easer if she plays alot.

How much money do they get per game? Do they get travel exp. During district tour. do they get more money than season games? Just like to know if anybody knows.

Go to the boys middle school form it will tell you there. I think they got beat though.

Congrats to Wartburg on your big win over Oakdale last night.

Oakdale,Wartburg and Coalfield can all tie for 3rd place in the district but come tournament time you must give the edge to Oakdale and then you have Wartburg and Coalfield. Wartburg is the more season team with the upperclass but Coalfield are young and they do not know any better so a toss up.

I had heard the same thing. I hate to see Dallas leave because I think he is one of the best coaches around east tennesse. Just to bad the last few years his teams have had problem getting the W's and I would have like to see him go out on a winning note but thats life.

Why is Dallas not coaching next season?

This is what some of the PJ parents have said they heard him say. I do not know him so I have no dog in this race I hope he gets the job at Wartburg if this is not true. Why did they have a petition going on if he did not say that?

The comment is FACT not fiction about what he did say about the PJ community. It might have been in the heat of the monent but he did say it and I am sure he is truely sorry about it also.
