  1. My brother was simply tryin to start some discussion on an extremely talented runner, from east tennessee. People can throw all the results they want too, but at least in a 3 mile CC race Jaynes was the fastest. With talent and foot speed one can only infer that he will also be a force to be reckoned with at A/AA state this spring in the 1600 and 3200. If his supporters are to be respectful so are his critics. Please recognize that he's an amazing talent and will (just like he was in CC) be ready when the final gun fires. The only results that matter are those from state.

  2. Bill Bowerman (co-founder of Nike and OU track legend) once said....

" I invite you to become students of your events, and quite possibly if you can find meaning in this silly little past time we call running, perhaps you can find meaning in another one of our silly little past times, LIFE"

(o and word to tonymontana, nicely put bro)

  3. I dont think jj wouldve run much faster. i mean he had someone pushing him pretty much all but the last 800m. he might have been able 2 go 10 seconds faster at best

I find this extremely hard to beleive, they way JJ ran is not the way he could run best, his best would be drafting, and distancing in the last 1200-800m i'm sorry JJ led the whole race, like PRE, cmon give the boy credit, he lost the lead for like 2 seconds....

  4. i was just expanding on something stealth said. thats y i used the quote. and u cant really talk stuff cuz u ran what 17:16 at state last year?

I was still on a state champ team, along with both of my 4x800 victories, in which we won both in galmorous fashion, also in which i ran the fastest split, XC aint my game punk, i run track, but my boys run XC(JJ and the E-TRAIN) so until u know who ur talkin to stay outta my business

  5. those rankings do not count because im pretty sure last time i race ketron i won by 15-20 sec...and the last race smalling was at i was 19 sec behind him and i didnt even kick...they ran on crazy fast courses for those times. dont be gay...shut up

    diddo

  6. do u run A/A?...would u like a skeet taste? id be more than happy to give it to u.

THAT IS MY BOY JJ SON... GET AT ME, JJ u my boy i will c u Bright and early at 6 in the morning at the residence of adam greene, and we'll roll the e-train in to nashville haulin some serious mcnastiness soon to be the MCDYNASTY

  7. I will play as arbitrator..... All these teams have a good chance of winning, and we can argue all we like and it wont change the outcome on saturday we will see who is the best, and who's #5 is sub-oar, until then chill out,...... Roll E-TRAIN Roll I love you guys

  8. You can talk dynasty and team prestige all you want too, but i'll stick with my mommentum and desire.... e-town's got it.... i've been a cyclone, there is not a more intense team when it comes to gun time.... and that is the truth... get at me coach H

  9. sorry to the FRA guys... I didn't see you on the rankings list until tonight

CCS has their top 5 at or under 17:25

page's 4 and 5 concern me.... I'm hoping they will fly down so we can have a hardcore 4 team race

    CCS' keys to winning state:

    1. Get 1 and 2 under 16:30

The race should be about 10-15 people under 16:30s so if we can pull 2... thats fantastic.

    2. bring 3 to a 16:45 and #4 to under 17...

    3. one of our #5's needs to go under 17:15

    4. Have 5's and possibly 4's of some schools be in the jumble between 17:20 to 17:40. If there are enough spots between those 2 then we might be able to pick up several crutial points...

    5. After looking at FRA's times the major key is to plain run faster. Their times for #3 and 4 have gone up a bit for their last race. They'll drop again for state guarenteed. If the speedwork kicks in then it'll be a dogfight.

    6. Will. Not saying we have more will than anyone else. But it's added. There will be 6 seniors and 1 freshman at state. The freshman is trying to atone for his brother when he didn't run XC in HS and cost the school a state championship. The other 6 seniors will be in their last HS XC race ever. That's almost all of the team. Both boys and girls had 18 seniors combined. 18. There will be no fast team next year. We'll struggle winning region (our region will be a piece of cake) much less doing well at state.

E-Town's top 8 reasons for winning state

    1. Josh Jaynes

    2. Adam Green

    3. Chris Brummit

    4. Tyler Ross

    5. Ryan Green

    6. Jordan Peters

    7. Drew LaPorte

    Roll E-TRAIN....

  10. not running harldy at all for a couple weeks and going from 14 miles a day to zilch is going to make me continue to improve like your teammate? i'm taking a different route than normal and do not have the opportunity to try and peak with training. i'm not trying to make excuses though. other runners have gone through and are going through things ten times worse than this. look at ryan sheridan (a soph who made it to FL Nat's then couldn't run for a year with internal problems and injuries). believe me, i'm gonna go all out. look at the physiological aspects and adaptations lost after just 7-10 days off and it stinks, but those are if you are not exercising at all and i have been on the elliptical and the bike (so you're right there). but, simply running through pain (and being able to run and do workouts) is a lot different than not being able to run. tendonitis is not the same in different areas. some tendonitis you can run through and still do well and not run with a different gait. do your research on anterior tibial tendonitis...it can knock guys out for half a year or more and can ruin your career if you take it lightly. you can't run normally because each time your foot hits the ground it hurts and shakes. if you run through too much pain, the next step is a stress fracture.

when i ran that 15:16 though, it was off a 93 mile week and lower iron. I wish i could have had taken the next step (speed and taper) with a period of good speedwork, but I do trust my fitness and will not use this as an excuse. it's been a good season and i hope it gets better. just because my name is todd or whatever you said does not mean that i'm invincible and can take a couple weeks off and still run the same. are you saying if i had a stress fracture or mono i'd have no excuse to slow down? i don't get it. i will say that i've been fortunate to be able to run a few times in the past couple of weeks and been able to cross train without pain for 2 hours or so a day. however you look at it, though, everyone was 45-50 seconds closer to me than usual on thursday and i should have been under 15. i will have to run much better next week if i want to do well. FL is iffy right now...i will only run if i can get back to training this week.

good luck to you as well next week...you guys can take it all and i'm rooting for you.

Todd, man u know i have faith in u, and love for u man, most everyone who knows of you, or at least decently well kno whow hard you work, i refuse to beleive its for naught, even if you've forfeited some training, if nothing else it gives u a mental edge, you can prolly endure more pain than any person i know, i can tell by the way u run..... Good Luck buddy, i know you'll do great

  11. Who is Josh Jaynes? Is he like the next Mike Jones or somethin? People are sayin that he will be pushin Joseph Pair, but Pair has his PR beat by over half a minute!

Times are subjective man, to the course, day, weather, and competition..... if you've met either of these kids, you'll know its not gonna be a landslide on either side.... But i still go tmy boy JJ with fresher legs and a faster kick.... roll E-TRAIN roll

  12. Your boys FRA and CCS are runnin pancake courses son, come up to the East and step on some hills, Percy Warner is the easiest course E-TOWN will runn all year, don't talk to me about times, they are subjective, i'm talkin about ability and tougness, E-towns got it, along with a Kick ###### Helmsmen, Jimmy P, We'll see how much times mean This Saturday, cuz the E-TRAINS about to get MCNASTY

  13. Much Love to coach "P" and his training which keeps nothing in mind but the state meet. JJ will be ready along with the rest of the wild bunch, JJ runnin sub 16s on these sick East TN courses, i'm sorry theres a huge difference, Pair is tough, he is actually my future teammate, but I'm still talkin bout J...J son, Game on Cyclones, Do it for your boy, God knows i'll be down there to C IT
