actually, i believe that there will be more persons to break up DL's top 5, change my prediction to about to 48-50.
-
i would place clabo on top.
i'd say 16:30s-40s, coniglio, i think that 16:38 sounds accurate. clabo then patterson, yourself, madden, johnson, all under 17, followed by: maheney, musick, cowan, perkins, bell, and varble rounding out DL's top 5 putting them at: 42 pts.
they're not going to be anywhere FRA's record of 29 points is my point (no pun intended)

Nice post. Right on the money.
I'll try to keep loose all week. This year is a learning what state is all about year for our team. We got lucky to qualify and need this race to learn what it's all about. I'm the only one from last year's team returning from state.
We'll be happy with most anything... if we run our best then it might just be cause for celebrating anyway.
i wish more teams felt like that. it's upsetting to see people that lose touch with the real goal of sport: comaraderie. win or lose, it's really about the friends you make and the memories you share.

Boys:
1. Kathy Kroeger
2. David Clabo
3. Who cares.
amen to that.
-
Yeah I heard that one of the favorites ran today like he did last year at state to finish out of the top ten. Jackson Blitton.
Sorry to hear about that. I thought he would have a chance at top 5 on Nov. 4.
it's always hard to see that happen to someone. but he'll probably train extra hard for track so he can beat johnson in the mile. besides, he's a junior, there's always next year.
-
Lipscomb...man, that was terrible, game over indeed. Congrats to patterson for winning, it was tough out there today. and did anyone else notice that the overall top three state piicks swept the top 10 today? Dl-5 FRA-3 MLK-2
-
no, all you nay-sayers are wrong: the region sweep won't be that hard, DL, FRA and MLK's teams have figured out how to transform and combine into a giant robot that will blow up all the other teams. once that's over they'll just go back to regular and run for the title between themselves.
jeeze y'all are stupid
-
yes, well, being that region 5 is a metropolitan area, no one here has a farm to put on the line so you're SOL. but the sweep is still in the air. 1-2 is set but mlk needs to come through with something big to pull that off
-
it hurt...alot. steeple stinks. and brentwood needs to have their own seperate ROC-esque race or something, it's just not fair (maybe DL should go too)
-
from what i've seen, i'm pretty well assured HFA will go to state, lipscomb is a no brainer, the third spot is up for grabs. if i were a betting man, (which i'm not) i'd say FRA, but don't quote me on that.
-
region 9 A/AA. as for the love: there's nothing new. we're up here spending the time wondering what's going on to the east and west of us...
-
i'm pretty sure you're right. FRA got third. then ryan, i believe.
-
i don't think we've seen johnson or blitton run at their best yet this year. you have to give credit to a guy who managed to run a 16:30-something 3 mile at steeple, and johnson has, i believe, equal talent in that respect. point is don't think clabo will run away that easy
-
yeah, TrentDilfer is a very championship season kind of person. nice to see your return for xc season, trent. and i agree, steeplechase does mess with people.
-
i second that. just because results arent on tnrunner doesnt mean anything. my 5th best career time or something around there was what they had for my pr
precisely.
and i love how you're still registered with the wrong team, hardy chuckles to be had. much love, crip.
-
Who's this? He doesn't have any results on tennesseerunner.com
if it's not registered with the all-mighty tnrunner, then it doesn't register with matt.
-
DL is doing a really good job at keeping people guessing. Yes, they are a solid team, but compare them with other solid teams around the state and I don't know if they deserve all of the hype. If you check out their team page on TN Runner, only one runner has made an elite performance this year. Yes, they are a pack running team, but there are some other teams that also run that way that aren't getting the hype...see also: elizabethton and university school - jc. I'm going to run some numbers and I'll get back to you guys.
only one elite performance has been posted, i'm sure that atleast 5 of them have broken 18. for sure 4 of them have.
-
they actully weren't as impressive as the title of this thread would lead you to believe, my bad. FRA was only 6 points behind them, however, they had 3 guys in the top ten, and i'm not sure perkins ran. maybe he did, i might be wrong, but he for sure wasn't one of their top 3... meaning they dominate. Not to mention that both DL and FRA beat MBA and Father Ryan.
-
they were the favorite before, now it's getting to be rediculus.
-
i'm proud to say that i am one of the few guys on the board that can beat her. yay. that sounds so sad. she is a horse. a 70 lb horse
i'm getting there crip, it's just a matter of time...
-
i bet kathy kroeger could beat chuck norris in a 5k. anyone agree?
chuck norris would round-house kick her straight to FL just so he doesn't have to deal with running a 5k.
-
shes garbage
i agree, i mean, it's not like she's not beating all the guys who post crap about her...
-
Dout it. That's about as far as their depth goes.
What is E-town up to this year?
not much it's looking like...
-
im pretty sure the crippler called that one if i am correct....talking about mahoney.
where was clabo
stealth, when have you known crippler to be wrong, it's his life.
and where was clabo??
