Personally I like the old format where the top 2 went, but I think its bad for highschool football. When you only have the the top 2 teams going, the kids lose intrest in playing for a team that is 7-3 every year but misses the playoffs. In counties with a multiple of highschools, students want to go where they can win, and even though a team might be 7-3, if you dont make the playoffs you are not considered a winner. Thus, talented athletes find a way to make it to the the schools that are still in thier county but make it to the playoffs every year. A good example is Huntingdon and Mckenzie. They are 10 minutes apart, and if Mckenzie never made the playoffs because they were always the 3 seed, where would Drew Hayes and crew decide to go to highschool at. I hate the blow outs, but this is best.
