FYI, not that it matters: Meghan, her family, the coaches, trainers and doctors have been on top of the situation and all possible scenarios since December. She is an intelligent young lady and has made wonderful decisions to this point, if you don't mind, leave her (them) alone and keep your speculation to yourself. Final Scores from Friday night Houston 64 USJ 45 Chester County 44 Briarcrest 32 Dyersburg 49 Livingston 44 Westview 65 Marshfield MO 57 Saw from the half of the Houston/USJ game on and all the games were pretty good for the first week of the season. Houston pulled away late from a 6 point game, Chester came from behind, Dyersburg held off a Livingston rally and Westivew came from 9 or 10 down to win. Hope to get back up tommorrow, games should be good again.

Briarcrest 2 time DII State Champs, Livingston with Beechboard and Co. their year?, Chester Co off lasts years state appearance, Houston is the one of two best in Memphis AAA, to go with USJ (Final Four last year in A) Marshfield MO (4 State Final 4's in 4 years) Westview one of the top 2 in West TN in AA and Dyersburg with a world of young talent. If you are in West TN next weekend, better catch some games in Martin.

Appeared Burt played mostly kids from the Middle TN area that he knew at the state. Now it is National time and Insell and Burkey are going to play for the title, the ones who can play will play now, regardless of where they are from. Seen it happen over the years, it is put up or shut up time.

Saw a lot of the players at camps the past couple of weeks on their HS teams, which is of course different, but they have some great talent, the best TN has to offer with few exceptions. Benjamin and Horton can play in the post, Phillips is a fireball at the point, wish she was 5'8, unstoppable. Wilhoite can shoot from just about anywhere. Cavin can play period, dominated camp. Tate is solid. Cleaves is a scoring threat all the time. Heard they are picking up a post, should help. Haven't seen all the rest but know they are all just as talented. Hope the team has a great national tournament and brings home a championship.
