  1. Wow what a game the Pioneers had last night against Siegel!

All though we came out 15 points shy at the buzzer, they must have played great.

Wish I would have been there, J.Walker even got a little gitty on the radio.

Sounded like the Pioneers got so fired up last night they nearly cleared the bench,

after Kyrie was intentional shoved resulting in a double technical.

The pioneers out scored them by 8 points in the 4th. Final Score 89-74 in Siegel??™s favor.

Great job boys! Nitro I think Swami will have to look in his crystal ball a little harder next week. LOL

    Best third and fourth quarter all season. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

I was at the game last night and I was very impressed our boys came out in a zone instead of man to man like they normally do and caused some problems for Siegel getting the ball inside. The Pioneers came with the heart last night, and after the double technical the boys seemed to play even harder. Siegel went for a couple of dunks and some easy layups but the Pioneers went in and fouled the Stars so they couldn't get the easy basket. Jaylan Mount had a nice block towards the end of the game too. I was so proud and impressed with our boys last night I hope they can bring that same intensity to the Cookeville game Tuesday night.

  2. Siegel Beats Warren Co. by only 16 tonight 90-74. It was a very entertaining game. The Pioneers played with a lot of heart and hustle tonight even though the came out on the short end.

Anyone know how many points Hammonds had? He knocked down quite a few threes.

  3. when is the next home game?

    This Friday against White Co.

So far I have been impressed with the Pioneers they have a very competitive team this year. The boys have a don't quit mentality to them which was shown in the Gallatin and the Coffee Co. games. Pioneers have a good chance of beating Blackman tonight and with Puckett injured they have a good chance against White Co. on Friday.

  4. Coffee County is one of the WORSE places to play in the midstate for good "OLE HOME COOKING" When I saw that score I thought uh-oh, and then when i read your post , I thought hmmmmmm, I have seen that before. I don't know about anyone else, but I think our refs in 7aaa are soooo much more professional than the ones I've seen in 8aaa. Maybe it's just me ?????

/thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> I agree whole heartedly. There have been many occasions where the Pioneers have went to play Coffee and the game would look more like football than basketball.

  5. Wow, I am kinda stunned that it being homecoming no one is talking about it. What is going on WC posters? I will start it, the Pioneers will go into Nunley Stadium and pull off the win and will be cheering on the Rebels of Franklin Co. to help us lock in a playoff birth.

  6. What's Warren County injury situation? Word is they're pretty banged up. QB and a receiver aren't looking like they will play this Friday. Anyone have any info on this?

I haven't heard anything about anyone being injured but Wilcher, and I think he goes to the doctor today.(correct me if i'm wrong)

  7. To my understanding Mr Nunley never said the game was lost because of the lack of Wilcher, it was just a major factor.....and i do believe Wilcher not playing had an impact. the DID miss his 4-5 yards per carry. if he'd been out there it would have freed Northcutt and Hutchings up for the outside game rather than having to bang it in between the tackles with the bigs.......as far as the season goes, this is just one game....lets hope these guys view this as an eye-opener rather than and end game....this team has talent and can still make some noise in the standings this season. its up to us as a community to stay behind these guys and not allow them to hang their heads over one game!

Excellent post, pioneerfan54 is right we don't need to let our guys hang their heads. The boys need more support right now. They are a young team and we as a community need to stand behind them. I heard some people at the game Friday night saying "I am ready to go home" in the second quarter, to the people that say things like that, no one drug you up there and forced you to watch the game. I get so mad when I hear people say things like that. Friday night is a new game lets stand behind our boys and show up at Shelbyville like we did at Dekalb Co.

  8. From what I have heard they are going to use WAKI's feed for the play by play and have a couple people doing the filming of it. I think there will be someone on the field and someone in the booth. I have also heard they are looking for someone to be on the field. If you know of anyone interested Call Johnathan Womack with the Community Network Productions.

  9. You know your always welcome! Only thing that scares me a little are that the wives are decorating. (haha) If your facing the court house we will be on the right side #12. By the way, you guys are doing a great job, keep up the good work!
