  1. Bolivar got a good win to start off the 2011 season and now its on to Adamsville. From what I read on them, they have more seniors on they're team than any team in West Tennessee. I think it will be a hard fought game with Bolivar coming out the winner 28 - 14.
  2. Well Bolivar has a Week 0 game to kick off the 2011 Football Season. I dont know much about what Fayette Academy has this year but Bolivar comes back loaded on both sides of the ball. Ima say Bolivar by 14. Any comments are welcome. Lets Go Tigers!!!
  3. Like I said... We're athletic and reloaded... Nuff said!! On To The Next!!!
  4. You havent seen Bolivar play before evidently. I guess you miss what we did last year. We reload... We dont rebuild. As you will see tonight... We are very athletic and they will get a first hand of it tonight. We have the toughest district in AA. Liberty and Bolivar have represented at the Tournament. The AA goldball will come by West once again. Good job today Middleton....
  5. Well My Bolivar Tigers are back at the boro and so is the Middleton Tigers. I see no one really talking bout us on here like they usually do. We kinda been under the radar all year. Lets see if Bolivar and Middleton can both bring gold balls home just like in 2005. Boy, that was a memorable year.... That would be so nice.....
  6. Bolivar is now 3-0 and Lexington is 2-1. Share your thoughts on who you think will win. Bolivar wins 28 - 14
  7. I'm glad Bolivar came out with the victory. I was nervouse going into this season cause the OL had to be rebuilt. How strong is carver or were they haveing a bad night? Also how good is Fayette Ware this year. I know they still mad about what happen the the second round of the playoffs last year.
  8. Can anybody tell me how good we are this year and where we might finish in Region 6 - 3A?
  9. Bolivar Central beat Mitchell 83 - 81. Just in case you didn't look at our schedule this year.
  10. Congrads to Bolivar Tigers for making it this far. There were many that doubted you would be here this year and having a chance to maybe win state. They were saying maybe next year and stuff like that but yet here you are 3 games away. Play hard every game and we can make it happen. Don't know much about the team your're up against but can anyone from Chattanooga or surrounding area share some insight about Howard and who they think will win. Ooooooo....... Ooooooo........ Ooooooo....... B-Town Tigers...... Oooooooo...... Go Tigers!!! '08 AA State Champs?????
  11. I just wanted to say congrads on a fine season in football. Its been 10 years since we made it to the quarterfinals but we made it. The team that made it during that time (1997) was alot more stingy than y'all were on defense. To this day, I still say if that field hadn't been muddy, Bolivar would have beaten Page. Just like y'all that team had alot of speed on the field with players like (Rashad Smith, Antwan Croom, Eric Bowers, and a couple others.) But good luck next year maybe we can make another good run. I know we'll have alot to reload to be like we were this year.
  12. I'm going with Bolivar in a close 28 - 21 Victory. Playing the hard teams helped them get this far. (Dyersburg, Southside, and even McNairy Central). Also good luck to Haywood against Mitchell!!!! I would like to see a Bolivar-Haywood Match up.
  13. Region 6 wasn't a cupcake region this year. I believe Bolivar will give Lipscomb a run for thery're money. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if we're on top
  14. I feel like Bolivar will win. The game in week 2 Bolivar had 5 turnovers that killed them in that game. Bolivar is playing better football than fayette-ware. We looking for to playing Lipscomb. We got y'all in Basketball (2006). Lets see if we can get one inn Football possibly.
  15. First off I told y'all Bolivar would score more than 10 points. Like Toinemac said, We shot our ownselves in the foot. It will be different if we get the rematch. One things for sure Y'all better learn to pass the ball if you gonna go deep in the playoffs. Them big boys from middle and East Tennesee gonna throw them long bombs on y'all all day. The key to Beating dyersburg is stopping the run. You do that and you got them beat.
  16. We gonna score over 14 points. We'll win 28-21 (Bolivar)
  17. You're right cause I had one sister graduated in 1983 and the other in 1984. I know Coach Hook was the coach then. But you know at that time I wouldn't have known anything bout the 77, 78, 79 seasons. I was a baby then...lol
  18. This is not the first meeting in football between the two schools. We played Dyersburg my Sophmore year in 1991 and won 28-20. That game was in Dyersburg. We played yall the next year when y'all had those two twin brothers playing running back (Ed & Ned Benard). I think y'all beat us 18-16 and that was in Bolivar. That was in 1992. We haven't played y'all in 15 years.
  19. I would definitely say this is the game of the week. Lets get the opinions started. Who y'all think will win? Is it gonna be close or a blowout? Share your thoughts!!!! 38 Days Til Bolivar Central Tigers 1st Basketball Game........
  20. There were alot people not expecting McNairy Central to be in position they are now. But here it is. Both teams are 4 -1 and 1-1 in region play. How do everybody think Bolivar will do in this game? Bolivar's defense is stingy and I see it being another close game for the tigers. I think the final will be 28-21 Bolivar wins.
  21. I think the 1998 Bolivar Central Team (Which lost to eventually champion Memphis Kingsbury), 03-04 Bolivar Team as well. Both of these teams played excellent team ball.
  22. I'm happy for Liberty. I agree they should be among the greatest team in Tennessee history but I STRONGLY[ disagree with them being able to defeat past champions though.
  23. You gave a great effort Monday night against Giles County but came up short but we're proud of each one of you. Thanks for a great year and we are greatly looking forward to next year. Alot of people didn't expect you to get where you are. You were picked to finish 3 or 4th in the district and you finished 2nd. You finished as runner ups in the district and region tournaments. I hope that you all take the experience of what you have learned this year and it make you better players for next year. To all the seniors on this years team, I wish all of you the best of luck in your future endeavors. smc4life see y'all this August
  24. It definitely wasn't no domination of Bolivar at all. If Jeremy hadn't fouled out..... Honestly believe it would have been us in the Boro instead of Giles. Being down 17 points at halftime and battling back to cut it to 1 says alot about our team. I'm proud of our guys. Next year looks very, very promising.
