  1. DB was impressive at cherokee, cherokee needs to get more of a rythm and consistency before they can become a contender with greeneville, which they have the potential to do as seen from the heartbreak close game loss.
  2. Cherokee. Why? Home Court Advantage. From the games I've been to this year, cherokees student section creates a tremendous atmosphere, and this game is against the most important, in many of our minds, team on our schedule. Look for 800+ of cherokees students and fans to be there. Star Power. Volunteers best players are Cradic and Browder, who are nothing compared to any 4 out of 5 of the cherokees starting lineup. Brian Snow always hits some electrifying shots that get the momentum going in the favor of the chiefs, and Milan penetrates the paint like he owns it. Cherokees Defensive. Volunteers main attack will come from the perimeter, because of their size compared to cherokees big men. Williams brings girth and strength to the table that I do not believe Ed Smith will be able to overcome. However, back onto the topic.. Darren Haun of Cherokee will most likely be put on whoever looks to be the hottest from the line, and it is my opinion that Haun can shut down either of Volunteers shooting guards and deminish their main scoring attack: the outside. As it may be obvious to see by now, I believe this game will be won from the area of high percentage shots, down low. And if this is the case, Volunteer is in for a long night as I see it. Why Cherokee may lose? TURNOVERS. We cannot prevail with 23 turnovers a game as we were shown against Greeneville. Turnovers that were our own fault lost us this game, I hope it won't be the same case against volunteer. Also, Volunteer is on a winning streak, and we are on a two game losing streak. You may point out the different talents of the teams we played the last two games compared to volunteers, but it's alot easier to win whenever you've been doing it night in and night out. As a conclusion, if Cherokee can go into this game with the right mentality and limit their turnovers to a minimum, I don't foresee them having much trouble in soundly defeating the Falcons. I stand with my first prediction. Cherokee by 15+. Hope to see you all out there.
  3. Brian David Snow, Brian Milan always pull in some points, and Darren Haun is known to have awesome defensive nights.
  4. 2f9d who the heck is mrbean, all his posts come from two years ago when he was making himself look like a fool against Dusty and Twig Sandifer. He always talks about how bad Sivert is too, he must've been a fat kid and didn't get to play.
  5. Well, I wasn't able to make it to the Greeneville game tonight, but a 5 point loss against a team the caliber of Greeneville is impressive. Don't be surprised if the second string Cherokee boys play the majority of the 4th quarter. Chiefs by 15+
  6. Cruel, please shut up with your ignorant posts. We have done nothing this year for you to talk like you do. Just because we've came out early and did fairly well doesn't give you the privledge of saying we will beat greeneville hands down. If we play near perfect basketball, have good defense and shut down wiggings, and maybe with some luck we might beat them. You not only make yourself look bad but Cherokee as a whole.
  7. I don't foresee Greenevilles main attack to come from outside in this game. Our lack of big men to step up down low will cripple us. Brian Snow and Josh Williams are really our only weapons in the paint. However with sound fundamentals and tough defense we could put up a good competition in this game. Cherokee is a very hard place to play at, as Morristown West saw. Us playing at home is an added bonus. go chiefs.
  8. haha laugh all you want. i dont care if greeneville is supposed to blow us out, its always fun to be right about picking an upset, if it happens
  9. What are your predictions for this game? So far cherokee has won the hardees, and haven't lost a game. I think cherokees tenacious defense will pose a problem, but I don't know if it'll win the game for them. If Brian David Snow can come out and continue to play as he has offensively, and brian milan has a good game all around, I could see an upset. It's too bad I won't be able to make it, I'll be gone for a few weeks on a business trip. I'm Pulling for the upset: Cherokee: 60 Greeneville: 58
  10. who are you, cruel? all of your posts are about cherokee.
  11. if you look at dream.big.play.big you'll notice he always talks about how great "kyle donahue" is, wonder who he is? Who has south greene beat, dream? They got blew out by RUTLEDGE? ouch Cherokee is undefeated, they've beaten Unicoi, Sullivan East, Elizabethton, and yeah west greene. I guess winning the hardees isn't enough to impress the "best player in the conference last year" kyle donahue, eh? IMAC Predictions: Greeneville Cherokee Morristown West Morristown East Jefferson County Cocke County
  12. You'd like to see Wiggins against a tough team? Is playing the State champions, while impressing everyone tough enough? What a moron. Don't listen to someone who uses the grammar, "can't recruit worth a lick," boys.
  13. QB: Brad Ramsey - Morristown East HB: Terrell Dockery and Greenlee - Morristown. Shane Barlow had some breakout games volunteer FB: Wes Hale Morristown West WR: Greenevilles Receiver LBs: JJ Sims. Sandidge DE: Bruce - West Kyle - West Elkins- Cherokee CB: Kim from Morristown West Safetys: Terence Kersey from Cherokee Defensive Tackle: Shivers from Volunteer
  14. this game will be alot closer than the first one, but myself i think east could come out of this one by a touchdown.
