A lot of people have been disagreeing with the way coach marcum is running his team. As far as not playing the older kids go...that's their fault. Everyone has a chance to earn a spot on a basketball team. If the younger ones are outworking the upperclassmen, then so be it. They deserve it. Older players offer leadership and experience, but the younger ones are the players that will REALLY be able to make a difference. It's a lot easier to tell people how to do their jobs than to try and understand. The biggest problem with Scott High right now is the lack of fan support. Look at their bleachers during a game night. We need people supporting the TEAM. If you don't want to support coach marcum, then do your best to support his girls. They're working hard. Keep it up ladies!

I don't think it will be a miracle season. They may win a few district games. (They should give Kingston a run for their money this Tuesday.) Coach Marcum has a lot to work with. Ball handlers like Ross and Kate Lowe, shooters like B. Strunk and that Bee girl. They go deep with sophmores like Hutson, who crashes boards all night and gets the put backs, and Acres who started last year. Do you think the players will help as much as the coach?

Scott High is up and coming this year with a new coach that has a winning record, and a team with a deep bench and a lot of talent. Who are the players that will impact, and what are you all's expectations for this underdog team??
