I would like to hear some thoughts on the best teams and years. For example, could have the Keeton boys beaten the squad that King and Windle played on?

SHS will build a 15-17 point lead but then swindle it away late in the 3rd and early in the 4th. However they will hold on to win by 10.

I don't uderstand why everyone must relate this game to social stature, who is the better school, your parents dislike mine and etc....... Look it obvious that everyone is over dramatizing the POSSIBLE game. This is not the movie Hoosiers or any other great basketball film. The poor kids dont work hard at practice while the rich kids dont have to practice. Nor is it the big scary county school versus the smaller school. It doesn't matter what is said in this forum, this is a battle of five young men at a time. Which coach can put the best combination of players out there to benefit his team. Yes this was a great rivalry and it can be again. But it is hard for either school or this county to progress when everyone gets stuck in this rut that continues to grip Scott Co. The people of this forum might think they are not but already you have began to argue about argueing. JUST LET THE KIDS PLAY!!!!!!!!!!!

It doesn't matter what the parents or fans say before or after the game. Each team can only put 5 players on the floor at a time. I say let them go at it, not only this year but in years to come. This way the winner will have bragging rights but only till the next time they meet. Besides it works for soccer.

Star 3, I agree with the fact that they should have won the "gimme" games but is it fair to state that the Lady Highlanders had several factors against them, one of these being the strength of the district.

The truth about the situation is that every school and every team goes thru bright seasons and rebuilding years. Oneida, Coalfield, Wartburg, and even Catholic do not have the best team every year. As far as attitudes this could stem from the skater movement that has recently hit the school system. This attitude can be phased out with simple drills. RUNNING,RUNNING,RUNNING,RUNNING and more RUNNING. This will help both conditioning and attitude.

Will Scott High's new coach win more games than the team did last year? Coach M. is good but will the teams youth overshadow his ability? Let me here what you think....
