  1. Is this a possible sub-state match-up?
  2. This one should be interesting. This game isn't as intriguing because the teams aren't doing as well this year. I think this could be a toss-up. Grace has some sort of mental block when it comes to Temple so that is a factor. Grace does not play well as a team but IF Grace can play as a team(meaning get Carter the ball guards!) Grace will win. If they don't Temple will win. It will be a low scoring game in the high 40's or lower 50's because neither team is good offensively.
  3. Dontay Hampton dunked all over this dude in the jamboree. The guy jumped with him and it was nasty! AND 1!
  4. CSAS was a fluke. Hampton was out. Silverdale shot 39 ft's to CSAS's 16. CSAS had 5 guys foul out so they were playing with the bottom of their bench and none of them stepped up. The loss was humbling and will be the turning point for this year. They will be focused on the gold ball from here on out. Remember Grace is only 8-7. They have not played up to their ability at all this year so don't give them too much credit.
  5. CSAS is playing in a tournament after Christmas in Jacksonville, FL so they declined the invitation. CSAS is definately one of the best teams in Chattanooga.
  6. Heard Andrews is out for the season after shoulder surgery. If that's true that really hurts.
  7. CSAS is the class of Chattanooga. After beating Grace and Temple on their home floors easily. They look to be the team to beat.
  8. Different CSAS team from last year. There is no comparison. Hampton is very good. I bet Moose could find him a spot in the line-up.
  9. CSAS fans really came out to support the Patriots last night. CSAS had their whole side full and 1/3 of the Temple side with their fans. It sounded like a CSAS home game. CSAS showed last night that they are still improving. They did not let Temple back in the game like they did Grace last week. Good showing last night but for the the rest of the region I am afraid to say but I think the best is yet to come for the Patriots.
  10. CSAS knows this will be a tough game. They are going into a hostile environment against the defending champs. Although Temple lost some people, they still expect to win. Should be fun.
  11. Here is my top 8 and they are legit contenders. 1. a. Union City 1. b. Humbolt 1. c. CSAS I think these three have separated themselves from the pack. 4. Manassas 5. Culleoka 6. Pickett County 7. Grace Baptist 8. Temple
  12. Jordan Longstreth won the state cross country title, but no teams have won a state title.
  13. Are you the lone member of that group that is missing from those "glory days?"
  14. CSAS and Temple seem to have switched roles this year.

  16. I believe Ooltewah played a 1-3-1, so they have seen that. No one has said that CSAS will win by 30, all I am saying is that if CSAS comes to play, in my opinion no one can beat them. Many Temple fans may have that same opinion about their team. That is why this will be a great game Friday.
  17. Sure! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  18. CSAS beat Walker Valley and McCallie beat Temple!!!??? This does not add up.
  19. You must be a player because you are dreaming. CSAS just did not play well against Temple last year and all lot of the credit goes to that Temple team. However they did split the year before so I wouldn't go as far to say that CSAS has waited several years, Grace maybe has though. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  20. 1. Howard 2. CSAS 3. Brainerd 4. McCallie 5. Walker Valley 6. Grace 7. Cleveland 8. Baylor 9. Red Bank 10. Temple
  21. Have you realized that there is no Skogen playing this year. Temple has 3 players. That is it. Don't fool yourself. Unless CSAS just lays an egg, they win this one easily.
  22. I do not think that Cleveland is as good as they were thought to be. CSAS beat Walker Valley which is picked to win that district. I just believe that when CSAS is firing on all cylinders no one will beat them. They play with an intensity that has yet to be matched except by a perinneal 5-A power from Georgia, Tift County.
  23. Should be interesting. I don't think Temple has the talent to "out scheme" the Patriots. Will Temple have a large crowd?
