like i said on another thread...many of smyrna's players are the best 20 year old high school players i've ever seen...

yep...met too! i may be wrong...but i think both sets of fan bases have way to much respect for the other team...know that the other team is really good...and so enlight of that i don't expect much crazy talk this week...i know this is how i feel...and smyrna does not seem to have a poster like "warriordad82"...who stirs it up with non-sense 6th grade junk talking...and i hope we don't have one either...the closest one i can think off is MR. DONKEY... ...but what else would you expect from a dad bum donkey...i'm just amazed that an animal like him has figurred out how to post on the internet...so i'm going to give him alot of grace!

this is hogwash concerning Mr. Mather's...i know this 100%...this is not cool to try and start these rumors... and from what i'm hearing from very reliable inside sources...bryson if fine too... regardless of who wins this game...we ALL should want both of these fine athletes to play...

i said nothing about their effort...i'm sure they played their hearts out...great for them...this will pay dividends later in the lives... i said nothing about any kid personally...never would... and while my oldest was at blackman, i was a parent of a kid who played on 0-10 team and a 2-8 team and i said...we were not a good team...or we were a bad team...anyway you want to put it...a 1000 times a season folks get on here and say this team is good ...this team is great...this team is not good...it is just a way to describe what is true about a team...this is part of what this forum is for...and coaches say it all the time about their own teams...i just think it chaps you that it's YOUR team... the honest thing to say inorder to live in reality is...compared to the uppper level teams in 6A football...we are not very good! that way you have a chance to get to the level you want to be at because you actually are starting from where you REALLY ARE! NO insults intended at all! i'm sure yall played hard and great effort is never a waste for the kids who lay it on the line! and...i got my information from soddy daisey folks...and they love your team...but they compared to a riverdale...they did not think yall were very good!

you're on the wrong thread... but since you are here...at least you have an opinion no doubt in my mind that Maryville is the team to beat from the east... and no doubt in my mind that the winner of blackman vs smyrna will face yall in the championship game... i'll wait until it happens to comment... but Maryville better be as good as they have ever been to beat one of these teams...

YEP...you are right...i do and i did! you forget that for 4 years my oldest boy wrestled those chattown teams a 100 times and I made many friends down east...so i talk to them...they say soddy is bad compared to teams in our district...i believe they are telling me the truth...and riverdale vs soddy game score proves that they were right and therefore i was right...can't beat a team by 50 unless they are really bad...that is the bottom line and i'd say the same thing about blackman if they got beat by 50...

my opinion is there probably should not be to much smack talking this week...because these are the two HOTTEST AND MOST TALENTED TEAMS IN THE STATE...both 11-1...both playing at a very high level...both have great defenses...both have great offenses...THIS SHOULD BE THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME! looking forward to the re-match! here is the way i see it... offense...even defense...after tonight...even (i would have said smyrna before tonight) special teams...even home field advantage...smyrna coaching...blackman blackman 21 smyrna 21...game goes to overtime...no freakin idea who wins!
