congrats to uc for a great season and a well deserved championship i watched them play one time and they really impressed me.

Well of course by now many people know that UC won, how does everyone think the game went? My predictions were just about right on how the game would go... Really the only thing i was off on was how bad we beat Wayne County, I said UC by 12, they ended up beating them by 14!!!!!l LETS HERE IT FOR UNION CITY!

van buren should have a good game on their hands tonight they should come out with the win if they play the way their capabl of but i haven't heard to much about ncs but i think we can win go eagles but they also have to play the whole game not just halfs.

I think that the eagles from VB are doing well from last year they might be a challenge this year for some teams

Depends on how you ( actually I ) look at it i guess. We sure stunk it up last night though.

 

We are playing a varsity schedule with a JV, almost a freshman, team. It is unrealistic to expect them to do well against good varsity teams. I judge them by three things: How much their individual games improve game to game, how well they play as a team, and how close they come to playing like legitimate varsity team. Untill the 2d quarter of the Eagleville game they were comming along, but not as well as the talent would indicate. Since then they have been a disaster.

 

As a team they look poorly prepared and uninspired on the floor. Individually I am seeing progress in the games of some of the boys. Some seem to be regressing. Not having our starting pg on the floor seems to be more of a problem for them than it should be. The kid is good, but heck so are the kids who take his place, and how much impact should loosing a freshman guard have on any team.

 

On another note: Van Buren your players looked good, they really mesh as a team. Now I know what you mean by up on the mountain! What a beautiful place

Now that is exactly what I was getting at. The Vikes are not yet ready to take VB at home, but with our little #23 in there it will not be VB by as many as they want. If one of our other guards can step up in his place then we will give VB a game. There are some who can, question is, who will. Like I said, gut check time.

it vb comes out to play like they have the last couple of games and play that way the entire time they will when by 10+ so i hope the vikings have a safe trip down and go eagles.

I know it has been ask before but the district tourney is coming up soon who will take to top spots and what is your order of the entire district.

Oh I am sure all of our boys will enjoy their matchups. I just love to watch a great defender play a great shooter man on man. It's more fun than watching two great post players in the paint because the perimeter positions use more of the court.

just means you have twice as good you have to cover more of the court and face more defenders.

I'm sure plemons wouldn't mind the challenge. Hope he does get to play. but remember don't focus on him to much cause theres 6 others players including the ones on the bench can beat you on any given night.

like what you said drpeppervb i know plemons and he shots the three on me and it is a kill if he is on that day and mooneyham to. and the other players will hurt you as well.

plemons from vb is the best i think he can make his own shots and he also hit 6 threes against cascade last night for the win every one of his points came from threes and mooneyham is not so bad himself.

Eagleville[/url] is 19-2, 8-1 in the district and beat a pretty good Gordonsville team last nite, away. But I'm sure you are right VB is a better team than Eagleville. Yeah right, get over your favoritism, because Eagleville doesn,t have big post people doesn't mean they can,t have a pretty good team. Forrest might win tonight but give Eagleville some recognition, their record speaks. Oh yeah I predict VB to lose tonight against Cascade and then they will be 2 games out of 3rd place but I'm sure they are still better than Eagleville. quote]

yes vb needs to win tonight to get back into the season and a better district standings. they were beat bad last night and need to make up for it so tonight we will see if they are going to play or not. but they need a win so go eagles.

I konw its a risky prediction but im sayin 12 at least maybe a little less but im sayin 12

lets just say if vb comes out to play like they did friday night that the indians will not have a chance. the eagles will want to win because they are not going to get beat twice by the indians. the teams is stronger and ready to play but we will find out tonight so good luck to the eagles and i am saying 10+ if they come to play ball. go eagles
