I believe in Henderson County (someone correct me if I'm wrong) the Sardis Blue Devils had a heck of a basketball team for a 130-140 person high school back in the day. The gym's still there but the school's been closed for a long while. And I agree, this thread is awesome.

Cates you're a player! This LA team really pulled it together at playoff time.

This was a mashing. That's O.K. the boys game made up for it!

I agree completely. Being a referee myself, I can say that a ref should NEVER acknowledge a fan.

Any takers on the worse coach?
Phillip Fulmer.....oh sorry wrong board.....

What a game! Both teams got into foul trouble early, so that made an impact as well, but I think Lebanon has a little better depth on their bench.

That's cool. Coach Palmer is, in my opinion, doing a wonderful job with what he's got though. The girls get good looks and they would score a few more points if they didn't go 2-100 from the field. But the shots will fall. They've just gotta keep playing.

L-Town for county champs. They're too quick for everyone else.

I doubt if it is going to be Siegal, because Siegal is very overrated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's definately not how Siegel is spelled

I go to West Tennessee five or six times a year to visit my grandparents and every time I read the Sun's sports page I laugh because half of their articles are reprints of other paper's writers (ex. Tennessean's David Climer) and the other half are about Milan and Hunnington football

I'm not sure what district they're in but I'm pretty sure its not 8A. I know they got a transfer this year from Metro Christian named Chris Goodwin who averaged 19 or 20 a game last year but other than that.....

Trousdale County (1A) could very possibly be the best team in the first three classes. Their out-of-region games were Livingston (3A champs), who they beat 14-12, Westmoreland (2A playoff team), who they beat, and Smith County (2A second round playoff team), who they beat the snot out of at Smith County. Friendship Christian (1A quarterfinals) is in their region and they beat them twice (28-9 and 28-21). They went undefeated. Plus they have an amazing coach and tradition of winning.
