Neither team played very well, especially offensively. Hillsboro was extremely flat and I imagine Greeneville feels the same way about its performance. To show how poorly Hillsboro played, Mooney went out for about 1 minute in second quarter because of uniform issues and greenville scored 6 points while she was out. Greeneville did a pretty good job defensively, helped by quite a bit of holding on rebounds and cuts. But if you can get away with it, why not? I credit greeneville for gutting this one out and coming out with a W when netiher team seemed to want the game.

Hillsboro won it tonight with the defense. Basically played 3 down, man on Johns and Mooney patrolled the top. With a little more luck and a few more shots going down for the Burros, the game would not have been as close. Burros rotated who would man Johns and used 3 different players on her. Great win for the Burros who have a team full of great kids who like and respect each other.
