I went to the cosby game last night and they had two guys score 32 points a piece....On of them hit 7 three point shots, and the big guy in the middle had like 15 rebounds and 4 blocked shots....The team they played wern't all that good so I expected that to happen......I am going to go with my home scholl Humboldt in this one....This is the best talent that Humboldt has had in the past 8 years that Coach boykin has been there...Big ups to Coach Thomas Boykin...He is a good coach that I had coach me from Junior high all the way through high school..Bring it home VIKINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Humboldt showed that a team effort can beat any team in the state. The have a very balanced team, and I look for them to play a very close game against a talented Middle College team. I think humboldt will begin to pull away in the fourth quarter and min this one by 12 points...... Any other predictions???

I say that game will be close for 3 1/2 quarters. Then Humboldt should pull away and win by 6...... GO VIKINGS!!!!!! .... It is so good to see my school doing well

Humboldt will definitely win this game in a well fought battle for three quarters. When that fourth quarter comes around, the Vikings will give it one last push and win it by 12. Toylon smith is going to be very difficult to stop, not to mention his cousin Kelcey Rose. Humboldt will be at full strength barring no injuries in the next few days. I think that when it all comes down to it Humboldt is the better team.

HUMBOLD ACTUALLY WON 76-38.....IT WAS AN ERROR>>>

The team is compsed of very quick and high jumping individuals. Of the twelve players on the varsity team, 8 of them run track also. Handsdown the team has alot of experience. During last years road to the AA state tourn. Coach Boykin played his bench as much as 10 deep. With the loss of Joe Shivers and Josh Dotson to graduation the team is still able to maintain a consistant team. Sain is a newcomer and wil be able to contrubute greatly. He just this past summer grew from his 5'10 frame to the 6'5 beast he is now. Now you have a would be SG in a SF/PF body. SOUDS LIKE TROUBLE TO ME!!!!! Smith has it all. He handles the ball very well under pressure, has an excellent juper, tenacious d-fense, and not to mention does very well in the class room. This is why we should see them in the state.

What many people don't know is that Humboldt was in AA last year. They actually went to the Class AA State Tourn. last year after beating Tyler Smith and Giles County in the Sub State palyoffs. They have three starters back from that team and they are a force to be reckoned with. Toylon Smith is the best point guard in west tennessee next to the man of WILLIE KEMP. When you add it up Humboldt will more than likely be at the Class A State Championship .
