Ask their coaching staff if they didn't take that game serious. or if their players didn't get after hard in 7 on 7 games. that's a very interesting statement!

Are they playing the Dresden & Westview game on a Thursday this year?? That game is usually packed.

I'm not getting on the Dresden bandwagon at all, but I am predicting Dresden will make a title run this year. They are going to be solid on both sides of the ball come playoff time.

You must be blind! I just watched it on Hudl and #64 took the first swing and our 63 swung back and then they went at it and when his helmet came off he suckered him. Don't go blaming it on us. If our kid was in the wrong he definitely should be punished. He was defending himself. By the way, that was a freshmen he punched. I'm sure our coach will watch the film over and over and if 63 was in the wrong he will pay for it. You need to watch it again and see where the first punch came from.

Both teams will be good come fall. Dresden definitely has an edge and are going to be extremely solid on defense and should win the district.

Coach Rang is a great coach and teaches discipline.

As far as the "blind" statement...that's not uncommon for fans/folks of Dresden football. It's been an eyesight problem for years, but that's why we love them.

Clarkrange will be tough the next 2 years. Their sophomore post is very good.

Yeah that's I heard as well.  So who is the superintendent/director for Weakley County Schools, and does anyone know what his reasoning was? 

Randy Frazier. I haven't heard what the "official" reason is, but I'm sure it'll have something to do with church activities. I also understood from other fans/parents that all four school ADs wanted to play it on Sunday. Hopefully, the tourney will get finished sometime this week--but the forecasted temps don't look too promising. It is my understanding that if the tourney isn't played, the seeding for the region will be the top four of the regular season....and that has come from multiple sources. Hope it gets played...everybody wants a "true" District Champ.

Question....if by some weather "fluke" and 14AA doesn't have an opportunity to finish their district tourney this week due to prolonged weather issues.....does the seeding fall back to the finishing order of the regular season district?? 

I believe that is the way it has been done in the past.....anyone know?

Obion County and Westview should represent the District come Region time. 

MIddleton is still the top team in that district and region. If the season is any indication, they will be tested in Sub State by a very good number 2 team from the other region. Should be a good finish to a pretty bland year so far. 

The top 2 in my mind are set, but I believe this is Greenfield's year to get the top spot. GC is good and are solid in pretty much all areas, but I think Greenfield's team has something to prove.

Good coaches and good players--but the top 2 have the most players and I think 14A will be represented in Murfreesboro when it's all said and done.

I thought my earlier prediction might fall through, but I'm feeling a little better about it. Top 4-5 teams can beat each other any given night. I still say Greenfield is the team to beat come February..should be a great tourney. 

Just a fan of football and don't really care who wins, just want to see a good game. On the broadcast, it looks like after every play --- CPA players are complaining to the refs?? C'mon man...play football.

Coalfield boys should still be proud! They did what many teams have never done. Played in the state Championship! Without a doubt, your town and fan are proud of you!

Totally agree. It's an honor for any team to ever make a State final and play for a championship and gave UC all they wanted in the first half. Congrats on a good season.

28 points in 5:19 seconds....wow. That's kind of what we witnessed all year. CF--run the ball and stop passing. Keep the clock running.....

The gates have opened and the adjustments were made by UC-----they may get to 60 before it's over...who knows?

Plus they get the ball to start the 2nd half.......

If UC scores this series and goes up 21-8...this game is over. I don't see CF being able to rally against UC. Bowling is one of the best at making adjustments at the half.
