  1. Just a summary of friday nights games. All went as they were expected Eagleville beats Webb School 78-70 VanBuren County beat Community 70-44 Cascade beats Boyd Christian 77- 60
  2. This is a big game coming up and i didnt see any other topic started about this subject however if there is sorry about starting another... Ok, as far as i know, Forrest sits squarely on top on their district at 4-0. With a win at Cascade tuesday night, Eagleville sits in sole possession of 2nd with only one district loss (to Forrest). VanBuren County and Cascade both sit next with two losses apiece however because Cascade somehow managed a win at home against Van Buren they are currently 3rd and Van Buren 4th. Van Buren plays Eagleville this coming tuesday i believe( not sure of the location of this game so if someone could clear that up it would be helpful) and with a win they give Eagleville its second loss making them the third team with two losses, if Cascade can hold off Boyd Christian, which i dont see being a problem (no disrespect intended), and narrowing the already fairly close race for second. And yes i did say they are battling for second because thats how the district is shaping up for the time being. What are the keys for VanBuren County in this game ? On offense where should they feel they could have a scoring advantage ? and on defense who do they feel is most important to stop off Eagleville's squad ? Will they play an up-tempo game much like i anticipate Eagleville playing, and turn this game into an offensive shootout or will they try to slow the game down and make Eagleville score in the half court (which is my personal opinion ) As for Eagleville... there defense has been the subject of some debate allowing Boyd Christian to score 71 points on Eagleville's home floor. Can they spot a pretty high powered Van Buren offensive attack ? How will they match up man for man against VanBuren County. For offense there really is no debate, Eagleville will most likely play very up-tempo and turn the game into a run and gun contest. And ultimately, who will come away with a "W"!!! What do you think the story of the game will be, and what of the score ?
