  1. The Siegel score, however, it incorrect. The Stars struggled from the plate and made way too many errors for the game to be close. 8-2 was the final with a Homerun by Matt McCloud and some booted ball for the other unearned run for the Stars. Sonny Gray, of Smryna, hit 96 mph on his fast ball and 81 on a couple of sliders. His final slate was at 93 mph fastball and a 81 or 80 slider that was wicked all night. He came out of the bullpen for the first time in his career and pitched a brilliant game after walking one and then hitting Matt Dodrill. He responded well with 4 more K's to end his night.
  2. 37-16 is the last I heard of it... I was supposed to have calling updates every quarter and I'm yet to recieve another, it might be getting worse.
  3. So many people frown upon Oakland. I am a true Siegel fan... But I'm afraid we will be frowning come State Tournament time when Oakland is there if Siegel does not start doing some simple things right. (Block out, pull the rebound.)
  4. I will admit that Blackman's student section is very impressive since the days of Taylor Black and Tyler Newman and company. A rowdy pair right there... The 05 seniors of Oakland were incredible.
  5. As far as the student section goes, it's going down the drain fast. Push the girlfriends aside if they don't cheer. Another thing, if we have to... lets start getting there at 6:00. A couple of us used to do this when we were extremist. Watch warmups, heck I have connections with Little Ceasars. I'll get us some pizza. We have to stop being ridiculous and start cheering! I bet Oakland and Blackman might be ahead of us... The student section needs to stop running their mouths about how good they are because that just gets the other team more rowdy and then they end up cheering harder than us! Rules to cheering 1. Cheer while you are down! Don't get nervous if we are down one and shut you mouth, get louder and more excited we could win the game any second! 2. Stop socializing, do that during halftime. (only about the game) 3. Have only 1 or 2 students yelling the intial cheer. (much like the cheerleaders) 4. Stay loud, if we are up 16 or 2. It can get deafening in our gym and others. We have to stay loud, who knows whos head you are in. But it could be them to get the last shot. 5. Remember, we have little to do with the outcome. The players decide that on the court.
  6. Cutter couldn't be held down by Kevin Smith, I don't think they are many in the state that can hold him down right now w/ a mask on his face. SOME PEOPLE WEAR THE MASK THROUGHOUT, AND NOT TAKE IT OFF BEFORE TOLD TO DO SO. *cough cough*
  7. I wouldn't see why they would, recognizing that Franklin is not in the District. There is still a possibility that they will, and it could turn tragic @ Siegel.
  8. The kid is young and was just trying to make some plays, I don't blame him. Neither am I saying you are... (Check my signature, it says it all.)
  9. I hope we do win by more than 10. I would like to see the team go into the weekend with a smile and a win. Right now, as a fan, I'm not worried about talented teams outside of the region. Getting a win against them would be great, don't get me wrong. To me a win vs. Franklin is just icing on the cake.
  10. Wow, what a post! I didn't know ole TJ tried out and FAILED in making th team.. that must really hurt his heart. Oh well, Nick hit some great floaters last night night and even recorded a blocked shot I think. Anyone up for a Ban TJ from CoachT thread?
  11. I figured they still loved around the arc shooting.. That can mean one of two things, Cookeville is dropping off or Warren County played with avengence after that large margain loss to the Stars. Thanks for the input
  12. Predictions? Anything on what Cookeville looks like this year? Are they still a perimeter oriented team? Anything will do... especially some trash talking! Siegel 68 Cookeville 65
  13. Wingman, the next district games for both teams are. Riverdale @ Warren County and Cookeville @ Siegel TDNTN, will you stop with all the smilies. lol Oh and BTW, there is absolutely no room to critize Cutter's play on this boards. You will just appear ignorant. It's hard not to take the shot when, A. you are on fire and trying to come back from a 20 point margain and B. your players seem to feed you the rock back to you after passing, or even C. When you are shooting around and over Smith (#22) you are feeming for more lol.
  14. Marc is in his own world out there and pretty much refuses to lose. He is a player.
  15. You guys need to quit telling all these secrets on MySpace and MSN lol. I'm sure that Riverdale coaches know exactly what is going on and for the most part probably don't read the T. So let out the secret news, so I don't have to get on here ... then call someone... then find out it's not true then call someone else and find out it is lol. Anyways, if Cutter is feeling okay to play and his nose is set I think we can win this game at RHS if not... well Siegel better be shooting lights out for this one not to get ugly.
