  1. i couldn't agree more... good luck to mitch has he moves on to further a colleges ability
  2. from what i've heard, he's pretty interested in walter state, as they are in him, and everybody knows they're a legit program.
  3. both teams came ready to play. warren's grand slam and burnett's home run kinda put things out of reach for siegel.... but how bout big Davis Pearce today... one heck of a performance on offense and defense. threw two guys out at the plate and hit a three run shot to give siegel the temporary lead. great job, kid.
  4. i don't think it matters who riverdale throws against white county, but after choate, utterback, and woods are off the hill against oakland or siegel, it could break loose and we could see an upset. riverdale will most likely see one of these two teams twice. their lack of pitching depth will be a problem I'm predicting. but riverdale will always keep it close with their high powered offense
  5. it was a joke, not really sarcasm... but in my opinion, you saying there is no way siegel is the best puts us way down the line... siegel has proven they can compete with the best of this district good one
  6. how can anybody possibly underestimate riverdale? ... all because i picked siegel?
  7. i meant when he's not pitching they're an average team... better?
  8. that was one of the hardest hit balls i've seen this season. i was talking with someone earlier about how loud it was off the bat, like an explosion. he got a good hold of it.
  9. therefore siegel did what they should have done.... whooped them since we're going on facts here, warren county's run total in district play is in the thirties..... ouch and congrats back to ya
  10. i agree that if warren co. gets the win, colby will be the one saying "siegel who?" but siegel has produced almost double the amount of runs warren county has in district play this season. warren county can't produce, and siegel's favorite pitching is killian's style. he'll have to carry his team on his back.
  11. while killian may be warren co's one man team, roberts of siegel is not. any loss he gets is usually going to be because of lack of run support.
  12. another loss? you just described ignorance. you do know lefty is an mtsu signee, correct? and the reason he most likely won't pitch in this series is to keep him fresh for districts, because siegel has the depth to beat an average warren county club.
  13. this is true, but as tight as this district is, even the 7 seed will be a great threat to any 2 seed. i could see warren county getting beat in the first round to the 7 seed without killian on the mound. even if he does throw this series, he will be on three days rest on monday, and four if he goes tuesday. if he goes tuesday, he will not throw in game one of the tournament and maybe not even game two. it's an all around sticky situation.
  14. David, say that oakland, blackman, and siegel sweep this upcoming series. i understand that siegel would have the upperhand on oakland because they swept them, but what would be the tiebreaker between siegel and blackman, considering they split?
  15. there is no way colby will throw in the siegel series. he would be on three days rest come day one of the tourny. that would mean he would throw on either saturday or sunday of next week, two of three games into the tourny if you give the kid the rest he needs to perform well. i know some of you will say the kid is supernatural and all and can go dominate on three days rest, but after throwing last night, he would only be on three days rest going into this series as well. nobody can dominate with the same stamina on such short day to day arm care. This would put him throwing twice on three days rest into the most important frame of the season. siegel is not throwing lefty roberts to give them a chance to throw him first game in the tourny. why wouldn't warren county do the same? if killian pitches, it'll be in relief... if they play it smart.
