Marions streak will probably end with this game. If they manage to beat Notre Dame, East Ridge will end it. Notre Dame is down a little this year. The valley teams don't usually fair well against Chattanooga Teams. They may finish 5th or 6th in the region. I believe Howard, Hixson, CCS, and East Ridge are the top 4.

I went to this game and the first half was pretty good. But the game got out of hand in the third period. The refs kind of took it over. I hate to see a refs ego get involved!! /mad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":angry:" border="0" alt="mad.gif" /> From what I seen CCS looked to be the better team, but not 20pts. better. The big kid did start and play, I think he had four points on the night. I was impressed with Cook and Guyear. These two young men played well. The Pirates seem to be focused and on a mission this year to be #1. I believe the Pirates win this one by a couple of TDs

Hello to my friends in the valley! I would like to come see this game but its a little to far for me to travel. I came over and watched these two teams a couple of weeks ago. I was a little let down with both teams, neither was able to establish any consistent momentum. I was kinda shocked that York was 8-0 at the time. That region must be a little weak this year. I would have thought York would have blown them out! I watched Marion play South Pittsburg, Tyner, and Boyd and I wasn't very impressed with them at all. Other than the first half against South Pittsburg, they were manhandled by all three. Marion has some skill players but as a team they don't play like the never say die teams I watched in the 80s & 90s. Good Luck tommorrow night Warriors! I do beleive you have an chance at winning this game but you will have to play your best football of the year. I am feeling an upset with this game so I am going to say Marion pulls off a close one in the dragon pit! I do believe Marion has never been beat there. I could be wrong. I thought I might go again this year. I have been reading a lot of smack talk on the Bledsoe/Stone thread about coming to Jasper and beating the North Kimball Warriors. Bledsoe must have spent a lot of time this past week preparing for MC because they almost overlooked Stone. What time will this game start central time.

Hey Double R, I believe their 15 & 16 summer team won the Dizzy Dean State last year. I also umpired a few summer tournments. last year and I remember Jasper winning a tournment at Camp Jordan in the 14 yr olds. It was a tournment which Jasper came through the losers bracket and beat a team from Ooltewah called the buzz twice to win it all. I believe their team name was Team Maximum. I also know last years 13yr olds won back to back state championships as 11 and 12 year olds before turning to a select team and playing as the Sequatchie Valley Shockers. I was disapointed that they didn't go for a third state championship. I am planning to watch Marion a few times this year and I believe they have the talent to compete as one of the top teams in the area. I will have to try to catch them at this Hixson Tournment, does anyone know when they play?
