I haven't seen Farragut play, but we played Riverdale and they beat us 3-0. They controlled the ball very well, but, seeing as we scored two of their goals (haha) for them, I don't think they are as good offensively are they could potentially be. Their defense was pretty solid. I haven't seen Farragut play, so based on what other people have said, I predict a close, fast-paced game with Riverdale coming out on top 1-0.

Most of Livingston Academy's team is going. I'm not sure what section. All I heard is rows T and U.

Any CPA players remember the sectional game against LA last year? That was an awesome game.

Wow. I'm in shock. I have more respect for White House now than any other team I've ever played. They may not be as good as some of the teams LA has played, but man... They come out hard to win. Dang. Congratulations, White House. I look forward to playing you guys again next year.

We just got back in from the game. Another rainy game for the White House Blue Devils, but apparently they like playing in that condition. About 3/4 of the game was played in the rain. WH looked very sharp throughout the game playing on the offensive end of the field for most of the game. LA thought they had scored early in the contest only to find out that it didn't count because of a handball. They didn't really mount much of a threat after that. Just short of the midway point of the second half, keeper Josh Martin punted the ball that carried well over half the field and forward Andrew Taylor tracked it down as the ball bounced over the stopper for LA. Andrew got his foot on it just as the keeper was coming out to make the save and it rolled into the net for the winning goal. WH then played some longball and possession, as well as having several shots just glance off the LA keepers hands to save goals, to perserve the win. It was a very cleanly played game. The field wasn't nearly as bad as what I had been told and was expecting to see. I was surprised that there weren't more LA fans there since they were playing a Regional game at home.
I sure look forward to a round 3 rematch with Portland. I hope it's as good a game as it was in the District Championship with the outcome in our favor this time. We'll see you there Thursday night.
I agree with most of this. White House did come out pretty hard, especially the beginning of the second half. It seemed to me the game was pretty even. "They didn't really mount much of a threat after that. " I don't really understand why you would say that, seeing as the offensive chances seemed pretty equal throughout most of the game. You simply capitlalized on our mistake at the right time. Good job on that. I thought it was a well played game and we're looking forward to seeing you guys again next year hopefully. Congratulations to White House on the win. By the way, did you play, BDP fan?

Dekalb county playing at Portland tonight at 6:30 and White House playing at Livingston Academy at 7:00. Any pre-game predictions? Please post scores of the games here also. And who would the teams in the region championship play in the sectionals?

5/9
5pm FCS vs Portland
7pm Station camp vs White House
Someone post the scores when they are finished.

Livingston over Dekalb 2-0.
-
You are mistaken. It says that LA is not better than Station Camp, and that say's a lot
Touche'.
-
Haha. If you're so much better than us, then beat us, Stationcamp. A tie doesn't say anything.
-
Stationcamp-0 Livingston Academy-0. Pretty decent game. The first half, Stationcamp dominated pretty well having lots of chances, but not very good finishes. LA did a good job of drawing them offsides on almost every single, if not all, offensive attacks. The second half, LA did better, controlling the field and having lots of cahnces themselves, but few shots. I enjoyed watching SC's #10 fall down randomly every few seconds. Good job to both teams. Look forward to meeting SC again in regions hopefully.

So, let them talk. You aren't going to prove your teams prowess by posting on Coach T. You aren't going to gain respect by screaming how good your team is. Talk is cheap. Show what you got on the field. If you beat the other team, shake hands and get ready for the next one. If you lose, same thing. Winning last year, doesn't win this year. You've got to do it all over again.
Amen.

Haha the best game ever was La vs. Friendship for district or whatever. That was awesome. The rioting, the fans being thrown out, the fans jumping the fence, the cops being called, the crazy goals. Good times...
-
wow! does that say la beat sc i played agianst both teams and i dont know but i thought sc was on a hole new level from la thats crazy is that a true post? if so what happened
They beat us once, we beat them once. That's about it..

Haha you guys are gay. Just shut up. Haha everyone already hates us enough without us being idiots.

Most people are right about Livingston. We were really overrated last year. We won some games against some very talented teams that dominated us and we probably shouldn't have won. But that was last year. We lost almost our entire starting roster so we're starting over. We do have some players that like to run their mouth and we admit it. I speak on the behalf of the whole team, not one or two players when I say no hard feelings toward Stationcamp or anyone. We admit they probably have more talent than we do this year, and we look forward to playing them.

Dude. Was anyone by the Morocco party at the entrance after the game? That was awesome. I wish we had spirit like that.
