1. i really dont understand the problem with his rankings... does farragut deserve to be number one? no, no they dont. who cares about them winning state last year, they beat bearden who also beat them twice that year. they just happened to win the state game, of course with the refs help, hehe, love to take a jab at farragut. anyways, i am more shocked by the brentwood ranking... everyone always ranks brentwood in the top 4 and they are just not good. look at two years ago when they played bearden in the opening round of state they got demolished, but they hadnt lost for something like a year before that. maybe it is time for brentwood to step up and play the hard games and earn their reputation by beating another good team imagine thta for once...

Have you even taken two seconds to look at who Brentwood plays this season? There schedual has improved a lot the past couple of years.

  2. our team just finished playing a game at christan brothers and there turf field is very nice, i dont know about the rest of our guys but i wish we could play all of our games on turf fields it makes for a much faster and even game

  3. QUOTE(EagleSoc6 @ Mar 9 2007 - 08:58 AM) 826405985This is the order I predict district would end:

Brentwood, Independence, Ravenwood, Overton, Centennial, Franklin, Hillsboro, Hillwood, and Hickman County

I believe Brentwood has a strong group of players that will lead their team far but wont make it to state. Independence is looking really strong with some young talent who in the future will be strong and hard to beat. Ravenwood has only one threat and thats will moorad, Overton seems like a good team from all those scrimmages theyve had, better watch out for them, Centennial isnt as strong as they used to be and neither is Franklin. Im not really sure about the other teams.

well if you have us winning district i am curious to know who you think would possibily beat us before state.

  4. QUOTE(DMID17 @ Mar 8 2007 - 05:23 PM) 826405279Willy and RJ will hold it down for Ravenwood. Anyone that wants to run there mouth can do so after you come through our house. Ravenwood is just fine without Kahn and Elizer, and will be coming for Leedle and company.

/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> ''Leedle and company'' thats a good one, and you dont have to worry me and my teammates or ''company'' will be more than ready when it comes time to play you guys

  5. I disagree. In my opinion--and the opinion of a lot of college coaches---the top two teams in Tennessee for the last 10 years were the Rangers '84 from Memphis and the Diadora Impact '86 from Knoxville. I'd place the TnFC '88 team in the same league with the other two, especially if they win next weekend---and I think they will. Not so sure about the TnFC'90s. The other two teams that stand out to me from this era are the Smoky Mountain Select '82 and the Smoky Mountain Arsenal '84--the Rangers' principal rival. From U-12 to U-19 only the Rangers or the Arsenal won States. With the Impact, after they lost the State Final in 2001 (to a TnFC team, 1-0), they never lost again to any Tennessee team until they disbanded after winning their fourth title as U-18s three years later. Select '82 had a similar run of success.

Overall, Tennessee soccer has improved alot in the last 10 years. It should continue to get better as long as adult organizers and coaches continue to keep player development as their top priority. It wasn't always so.

well if you are looking at the number of times a team has won state then tnfc 90, who if they were to win this weekend they would have won it 5 out of the last 6 years would have to be towards the top of the list, and to go allong with their state championships you have to look how they have competed against competition out side of the state of tennessee against teams at regionals, which they have been to two years in a row

  6. well if ravenwood plays a 4-5-1 not giving brentwood any gaps or lanes to make runs threw and marking them hard to were they only get shoots that are right at the goalie it might be 0-0

well just because brentwood shot like that against LaVergne does not mean that they will not finish better against ravenwood

  7. the best keeper in the state of tenneesse nationally or he is in the top 3 in the state nationally is payton miller .. he is homedschooled but he plays for odp n he made the national team but he plays select for the PSA BLAZE n he is an incredible goalie

as a matter of fact neither payton or jordan are on the national team or even the regional team just the state odp team, and they both are two of the best keepers for their age in the state.

  8. Right! If you have never seen BLawder play then you cannot say that he is the greatest even if he has the powerade award.. you still have to see it for yourself..also every team has stand out seniors!

Its actually the gatorade award :thumb: and even if you havent seen him play you still could say he is one of the best just because of all the things that he has accomplished

  9. alright so we all know that franklin and brentwood have a rough past but what will happen this year with several things

1.jordan leedle keeper..? good but good enough

    2.out breaks of violence

    3.who will win

4.predictions for score and who will be scoring them

hey here is an idea nick why dont u stop making topics about how im going to play because you will find out when we play you guys and u should be less concerned with my ability and more concerned with yours
