Mo West and Notre Dame were drawn 1-1, but I do not know how that ended

Oak Ridge over Gallatin 2-1.

Bearden v. Hendersonville. A great match up.

Greeneville v, Central Gwinnett. Another great matchup. 

I heard Morristown west plays their games at an off campus site. Can anyone tell me where they play their matches. We travel there this year. Thanks in advance for any help.

At least it wasn't 4-2.   Sorry guys, BigG, will get the joke from years ago. Sounds like a great match to kick off the season and a lot of respect to both programs from not shying away from testing yourselves early. What better way to know how to train and progress going forward. Good luck to both squads moving forward. G, let me know if your girls play in the area. I would love to check them out and catch up. 

Thanks for the kind words Coach. And G has it right. Best part about all those battles was that we have a lot of friendships start and continue to grow from them. Though I'd have liked to at least had the last one in '09. You can't fit all your rings on the same hand!!!!!!

SS, I was at that game in the rain. At, half time I wouldn't have ever thought we could win that game. Nothing had gone right for OR in the first half, they looked like a defeated team making that long walk up the steps to the locker room. Seemed like they took forever to drag their butts off the field and get up those stairs. I remember very clearly our band started playing and jumping up and down and they were right behind the team for some reason.. I never thought I would say this, but I swear the band woke that team up and they started playing good football. Then, Eduardo something or other hit that 39 yarder into a driving down pour for the win. I will never forget that game.

I know some teams started today. Saw Catholic beat Lenoir City 6-0. Think that draws them the winner of Bearden/William Blount. Also saw that West and Maryville play with winner at Farragut.

District 3 starts monday with: Anderson County at Hardin Valley with that winner playing the winner of Central/Karns. Other side has Clinton/Oak Ridge winner facing Powell/Halls winner.

Booger, it was a tough loss, but a good lesson. We bounced back well thursday and now need to focus on finishing out our district and then get healthy and keep improving for the post season. Good Luck to the Lady Irish the rest of the way!
