Who are the top pitchers in the rotation for each team in Sevier County?

Now Church's splitter may not be like Horns but that Sise boy definetly has the top splitter in east tn.

Im going to disagree with the comment about there being no chance G-P can beat Seymour, because i know G-P is going to be a much better team then last year and anyone can beat anyone on any given day. It just depends on which team comes ready to play.

Defensively i would have to take walker all around, but offensively waltermayer has proved himself more then walker at this point.

you will have some trouble seeing harveston strike him out since he has already graduated from seymour.

He can throw it a lil ... hopefully good enough to remind u of ol horn a little..hah. Kyle was clocked at 92 monday and church was clocked at 86 so it may be a little tougher than you think without kraegen.. it'll be a battle either way it always is.

So who are you implying is better then him in the district?

I agree that Pigeon Forge has been real good in the past two years and they have been the best team in Sevier Co. but when you lose a lot and seniors and a division 1 shortstop/pitcher in Tyler Cannon then it will be tough to bounce back. Much of Pigeon Forge's success came because of Tyler Cannon, im not tryin to take anything away from the other players, but its obvious that without him they would not have been nearly as good as what they were.

"SC is working hard every day to get better, and its going to show this season when we come out on top in the county." Im going to have to disagree with the statement of Sevier County coming out and being the top team in the county. Theres no doubt that they are working hard to get better, but trust me they arent the only team in the county working out and preparing hard for the upcoming season. I know for a fact that at least one if not more teams are working just as hard if not harder then Sevier County. But i guess only time will tell....we'll just have to wait and see who comes out on top in the county. good luck to everyone

In my opinion, i believe the best team in Sevier Co has to be either Pigeon Forge or Seymour. Even though Sevier Co is progressing I still think they do not have the fire power to be called the best team in Sevier Co. And I have not seen G-P play this year but just from what Ive heard i believe they will be better this year then the previous years also. Now between Seymour and Pigeon Forge I would probably have to give Seymour the slight edge, simply becuz Pigeon Forge lost alot of very good seniors and Seymour has 5 returning seniors this year, 3 of which started as freshman on the 2004 state tournament team. But Pigeon Forge is still the team to beat in Sevier Co until Seymour or the other two schools prove themselves against them.

I believe William Blount will be really strong this year

If im not mistaken, I believe Seymour has won district 3 years in a row, but that could very easily change with the talent of Alcoa and Gibbs challenging Seymour

In no order..... Rutledge, Anderson Co., Seymour, Gibbs, Pigeon Forge

If I'm not mistaken I think Anderson Co. is returning all of their starters but 3, so they will more then likely be in the preseason top 10 and also Pigeon Forge lost alot of seniors but they will probably be up in the ranks too.

Sorry about the comments from some Seymour people who wont even be returning next year, not all Seymour players are like that, so ill speak for the rest of us returning Seymour players..... Anderson County did deserve to be in the state they had the hitting, pitching, and coaching that it takes to make it to state obviously with Bryge and Pack, and even though we had them down both times we faced them they never quit and came back and beat us both times which means they must have wanted to win it more since we couldnt ever finish out a game. I dont know how someone could say they didnt deserve to be in state since they only lost like 5 games and beat some really good times on the way. Congrats to AC on a good season.

Obviously AC deserves to be there, they have only lost 5 games this year. I believe they have enough good sticks and pitching to make a run at the state championship. Good luck and congrats to coach guinn and the mavericks.

Tyler cannon is defintely a perfect example of a 5 tool player, he can do it all

Rutledge and Anderson Co are both strong teams with solid defense and good sticks in the lineup, but i see Anderson Co coming out on top of the sectional game @ Anderson Co. Rutledge is also having to face Coach Guinn,who in my opinion is one of the best coaches in the state. My prediction is Anderson Co winning 5-2.

Anderson Co beat Loudon 9-8. Congrats to Anderson Co for keeping there winning streak going and beating loudon again. Good luck to Anderson Co the rest of the post season.

Loudon plays @ Seymour monday while Gibbs is traveling to Anderson County. Should be two very good games since all teams will probably have there aces on the hill.
