They really did want Howard to win. Any Hixson player fan or parent will tell you they want to play no one but Howard. Howard is considered the best in Chattanooga and have the record to support that, and Hixson wants to be known as the best and you can't be known as the best til you beat the best. To say Hixson is going to get dominated and slaughtered is a little disrespectful, but the sleeping giant needs to be wide awake tomorrow cause it won't be easy. And you can see it in the eyes of Hixson that they don't fear giants.

IDK if I'd say boasting. I know the other night while Howard was playing the Hixson players were going for Howard. Even joined in on the Howard chant, but some fans took it as sarcasm but alot of the players are friends with the Howard players. Some even played AAU or midnight with them. If anything Hixson probably just wants some respect and get defensive when ppl say they won by luck. But regardless the game is going to be pretty interesting to see what Hixson does with the new roster Howard has.

HAHA. I think someone is a little partial to his younger brothers team. I never wanted to have to remind everybody this, but when Dominique Taylor got hurt he had ZERO point and Hixson was winning. His only points came one the play he got hurt. Harper had a good couple games but I been seeing almost every game him scoring less than double digits. Howard has had 2 large margin wins against Hixson in 4 years. I take Hixson by 7, IF howard can pull it off, it'll be close.

That's what I'm talking about some good old fashion competition. If the bracket so falls this way and Hixson plays Howard in the Ship, I'm sure Hixson will come out just as excited to play the tigers as they are. This tournament is gonna be fun, well worth the drive to bledsoe.

I believe thats right with the last 4 questionable. But winner of CCS and Hixson this friday night will decide second place. Should be the most exciting district tournament in the city.

When is Ricks coming back??? What's he injured with?

AMEN!! Its hard to go unbeaten a whole season expecially when players, such as Ricks are injured. Ricks can be the most effective person on the court and only have ten points. Howard is better than AE. And Hixson deserves some sort of respect amongst teams like McMinn Central and Telllico plains.

What's Tellico's record who have they lost too? Who have they beat? I think Marion is going to go top 4 after the tournament they're playing really good and have the right tools if used right. But Those Knox area teams seem pretty good.

In That 10th spot you really have Tellico and Sweetwater as a maybe?? IDK so much about that maybe look more into the 6AA dist. such as Chatt Christian or Hixson.

It was a very good game. The biggest hinderence for Hixson that night was that big man for Marion. He was dominating in most all factors even outside of points. I do know that Hixson point guard had the flu and played the whole game and was throwing up at halftime. MariOn did a good job of containing him and his brother (Jonathan and Andrew Hilton) anytime you can keep those two under double digits its hard for them to win. Should be an exciting game next time round.

And that's even worse cause Hixson's actually a pretty good team. And I haven't much about tellico but much credit to Tellico don't take any away from them and say Brainerd was sleepin on them cause theres enough haters in this city. Congrats Tellico

Well they played at the COC according to other posts and the Warriors beat them again they always give the Warriors a game for the past couple years.

I heard the chatt warriors played with all guards the whole weekend? They usually have some other big guys but sounds like they played good with 5 guards the whole tourney.

Wow it sounds like someone needs to listen to some lil wayne when he said." And hatin is at a all-time high everybody gotta hate it's like a flippin (to replace a different word haha) ipod." He's a genius just to add that.

Ricks is the best player in Chattanooga to me but how often do we hear his name on a thread and he is a junior.-- Wow how can you say that? Yeah he is a great player I agree(Despite scoring 4 points the other night in the region championship loss to East Ridge) But Russel Mcneil is 2 times the player he is. And don't even speak his name and Terrence Oglesby in the same sentence. He will be a good player and one of the best next year but right now definately not. And Jeremy Sexton is a great player has one of the best basketball IQs as a Sophomore and Junior in the area.(Mostly thanks to his very smart AAU coach. . . . Coach Williams.)
