I have been away for a while but the only coaches that I know of still in the area are Robbie Gravitt, Jerry McNabb, and David Phillips. My brother told me the other day that Nick Morken was fired from his job in Florida and was looking to get back there close to his dad. Does anyone know if he has applied for the job.

I have umpired and refed with Randy for many years. He is a good man and person. I am sure he will do just fine with these girls. I am sorry that I dont work girl's games where I will have an opportunity to see him in action. Whitwell should be grateful to have him leading the ship.

By all means Jasper can beat South Pitt. South Pitt can also beat Marion. It will take more of a better game for the Pirates to win than Marion. I think Marion will win in 5 innings.

Is all this talk necessary? You may be guys on here trying to make like you are school kids. If that is the case, then it is sad we cant have a board were people can talk about the games coming up without the nonsense. If you guys are school kids, then why are you not doing class work instead of being on here during the day. Maybe this is whats wrong with our schools and test grades. Does Nicole Henry still help with this program. Whitwell usually has a pretty strong rec program so I would think they would be a pretty good Single A program.

Girls basketball has ended as of last night. I hope everything goes well for Coach Laws and the Marion County Lady Warriors.

I am not sure that they got it in. I know that Grundy hasnt been outside all week due to the snow still covering the ground.

They should contend for the region this year if they can get some pitching. I hear they may of lost two pitchers already due to arm problems.
