Do you honestly think they could hang with the two powerhouses of 9aaa.. I dont think they would stand a chance going against Beech or Mt. Juliet..

No the winner of the Smyrna vs La Vergne game goes on to play Gallatin then they play the loser of Beech & Mt Juliet.. what a game it was last night (Smyrna vs. Mt. Juliet) both pitchers pitched an outstanding game Gray just had one mistake with the lead off triple and then balked him in.. after that both pitchers were light out.. Gray topped out at 93 and Cothem topped out at 90 last night

What a surprise that La Vergne comes up on top of H'ville... I think them not pitching Evenger (sp?) came back to get them in the end.. they took La Vergne to softly and look what happened..

pretty good game... La vergne scored 4 runs in 1 inning.. In the last inning WC scored 2 to make the game 4-3... with full count with 2 outs #9 (name?) pops up to first.. stinks for him b/c he is a senior and thats a bad way to go out..

Mt. Juliet beat Beech tonight... I think that locks up the 2nd spot to Mt Juliet no matter what H'vill does in there game tom... Taylor Hill pitched an outstanding game tonight hitting speeds up to 93 in the 7th inning.. he also had a Deuce clocked somewhere around 74-76... What a pitcher he is and he is only a Junior.. WOW!!

So does that mean that he has lost 4 district games.. (Cothem).. that is crazy.. whats he hittin on the fastball and how is the breaking stuff looking

As of right now im hearing that it will be this way but there is another night of baseball... #1 Beech & #2 Hendersonville.. both of these teams I think get a 1st round bye.. #3 Mt. Juliet #4 Smyrna #5 Gallatin #6 LaVergne or WC..??? but im not sure...???

Smyrna beats La Vergne (4/28) 5-3.. Timothy Edgerton hits a 3 run Home Run to take the lead in the 6th.. Sonny Gray gets the win and Cole Harrington gets the loss.. Smyrna plays Beech monday and Gallatin tuesday.. La Vergne plays Hendersonville Monday... does any one know who is in that #2 spot.. Mt Juliet or H'ville???

Hendersonville over Smyrna 4-3 Smyrna over Wilson Central 6-1... Smyrna plays Lavergne friday, Beech monday, and Gallatin..

He didnt throw 93... he hit 91 twice.. he is a very good pitcher but 93 is pushing it a little...

I heard he hit 91 two times... He is a very good pitcher and I would bet anything that he goes to Vandy..

This was a very well played game... Taylor pitched his butt off only giving up like 3-4 hits.. and Rusty Edwards came in at the 3rd and shut Mt Juliet down for the rest of the game.. Mt Juliet scored all 3 runs in the second.. The ump behind the plate wasnt giving Smyrna anything all night.. But all around a very good game..

I know that the 6th and 7th seed will play on that Thursday.. and the Winner of that game takes on the #1 seed of the district... I cant wait to see how this shapes out.. there are a couple teams starting to heat up...

Smyrna dominates Hendersonville 14-5... H'ville pitched Evandger (sp?) but Smyrna came ready to play.. Ramsey hit a HR... Tim Edgerton got the win for the Bulldogs.. I might go watch the Beech vs. Mt Juliet game... very important game for this district.. could change a lot of things..

Yea I was amazed when I heard.. I have been thinking that Beech is the team that is suppose to win the district this year and they lose to Wilson Central.. that was a big shock..

Hey can someone explain to me what happened to them in the Wilson Central game.. I have heard so much about Beech and I believe they are a very good team... Did they throw the ace and what are osme more games for them this week??
