  1. Red, also Middleton played lights out that night in M-Town. I will say this though, I don't think the M-town big man played that night and that should help their case if he doesn't play lazy. I know how good of a team Humbolt has and on paper there is no doubt they should win expecially at home, but M-town has a tendency to show up in big games and with an aggressive style of offense that could pose problems for a bigger Humbolt team. IF M-towns guards and forwards shoot like they did when they beat Humbolt earlier in the season- Look for the same result. However ,I think with the home court advantage and slowing the tempo to play the post will ill effect M-town. pick- Humbolt- 70 M-town - 65
  2. they don't have the size that we do so I think that Xavier Robinson will be more effective and I think Weddle will have another big game... Well, I honestly haven't seen Middleton play this year...Humboldt goes 6'5, 6'4, 6'2, 6'2, 5'10 with a 6'4 250ish freshmen with a soft touch comin off the bench... .reason I picked UC is because I don't think you guys have played against anyone like Weddle before..some of the shots he hits...just no way to defend that guy, and I don't think your big men are as athletic as ours...but, either way, good luck Monday... this is from your posts. I was not trying to compare any teams- It shows how scared you are of a team when you talk "hear say" about them- you are trying to compare Middleton to Humbolt- I was just saying that Middleton is not a small team. I was simply giving facts to show how M-ton is not a small team ,yet you compare Humbolt's players to M-ton in height. Sorry to bust your bubble, but Ya'll are not that much bigger. You also seem to think that Middleton is just going to fold over Weddle's shot. I was also giving facts on Middleton seeing guards as good or better than Weddle. You even admitted that Kemp was the better all around player. So don't come on here trying to kiss up to UC, talking "hear say" about M-ton. You admitted, you havn't seen Middleton play this year. So don't come on here trying to assume things that you obviously don't know anything about.
  3. ...reason I picked UC is because I don't think you guys have played against anyone like Weddle before..some of the shots he hits...just no way to defend that guy, and I don't think your big men are as athletic as ours Just don't see Middleton players being in that much of an "aw" over Weddle's shot- your opinion -I guess? Just trying to figure out where you are coming from? Nothing to say regards to the big man answer then?
  4. Wasn't trying to make the bench players Hall of Famers just stating that middleton really isn't a small team. Middleton has seen players as good as Weddle- Guess you can't compare Bolivar's Kemp or Scogen from Temple in Weddle's class? Come on! As far as the Big men -Middleton aginst Doaks last year, Chism from Bolivar, 6'9" 250+ D-1 signee from Riply,Ms- I think M-town has seen their share of big men with these players.
  5. Hey red 16- Why do you say that Middleton doesn't have the size that Humbolt does? I believe Middleton's starters are a 6'0, pg - 6'0, sg- 6'3", pf -6'3",sf and a 6'4" center. They also have 2 guys on the bench that see alot of playing time one is 6'6" and the other is 6'5" 300lbs that can dunk under the goal. A soph guard has seen some pt in the regionals named Murden. He is a quick guard and about 6'1"- so I think M-town is a pretty big team.
