number 20 was suspended, i believe (i dont know for absolute sure, but he was the one that headbutted the kid). i'm sure that will be extremely helpful for giles.

 

and when the brawl began and page kids were laid out all over the place, whose to say that several people didnt walk into the players on the ground (or their heads). anyways, codyucla, dont be such a doinker, we beat page 5-3 FAIRLY and about the brawl....

 

as a senior, i am upset that an underclassman got involved because our entire season was put in jeaprody. so don't think i'm happy about the fight because most of us on the team aren't -and since the whole thing was initiated by page- we're happy we beat page.

 

oh and if our players were (as you say) really really beat up... then page really isn't as tough as people think.

He didnt get suspended from school!!! He just got a red card so he cant play the next game!!!! When the brawl began ur whole team was on top of one of our players!!! We werent laid all over the place either!!! So quit trying to make it sound like u guys are so tough!!! Wow i didnt know it took ur whole team to take on one guy from our team!!!! You guys must be pretty weak!!! Actually it was started when two or three of ur players started talking smack to # 20 and then they tryed to jump him and that didnt happen untill ur whole team decide to jump on him!!!! What happened to us nothing from what i here u guys had alot of injuries due to do u on team hitting people on ur team!!!! Sounds pretty stupid considering we were in blue and u were in white!!! Are u guys blind as well!!!!

I too was at the game and saw what happened. Amazing how differently individuals see the same incident. !!!!! But videos don't lie!

 

Too bad Page only got one suspension out of a situation created by a Page player, who had incidentaly, been all over the top of the Forrest player the entire game. Forrest recieved two suspensions.

 

Congratulations Forrest on winning the District tournament!! I knew you could beat Page. You could have beat them the first time if you had all been playing up to par that evening. But then again your losing to Page the first time probably gave then (Page) a false sense of being better, and a misguided notion that they could easily beat you the second time around.

So u were at the game right!!! Where were u at on the sidelines, in the stands, playing on the field, or refing the game!!!! The situation was not created by page at all the two forrest players tried to jump the page kid and end up getting their @** kicked!!!!! Then ur whole team jumps on the page player!!! Causing the big brawl in which u Forrest guys lost big time!!!! I was actually playing in the game and definitely the page player was jumped!!!!! Videos ok did u get the video of ur keeper kicking our player continuously in the head!!! I am sure u failed to see that right!!!!

I dont know both teams have been doing pretty good these last few games of the regular season!!! It will be a great game and good for the fans to watch!!! I just hope that Page can pull it out in the end for the seniors!!!! Look for it to be a score like 2-1 or 1-0 making it a really really close game!!!!

I agree there should be a set field size because u get use to a regulation size field. Then u go play some where else and their fields are so small. It makes it hard for the teams to adjust. When a team is used to playing width and they cant because the field is way to narrow it stinks.

Well I would email Coach T if it would let me!! I dont understand why u do keep closing it because we havent even used in bad language or threatened any in anyway!! I just would like u to give me a resonable excuse on why u keep closing the post we put out on the website!

It seems like a lot of people with less than 10 posts feel that they can vent and cut down everytime they post. This is a general reminder to all that you can say what you want, without all the trash about individuals or coaches.

 

Think before you post. It is really easy to sit behind a computer and say what you want, with the anonymity of a screen name. Talk is cheap. Prove it on the field.

yeah i was on the field as to who i am don't worry about it. hey soccer or football it doesn't matter its about protecting your body and apparently you aren't very good at it. scared of a 15 yr old sophmore? who ended up on the ground and in the hospital. oh and about using "my team" you aren't playing anymore so use "the independence team" from now on. yeah brag about your schools team schooling him cause we both know you sure didn't do anything. yeah i know about the coaches and principals talking and it doesn't matter cause it happened in a game so nothing can be done. a headache equals "head trama" so what does having your face smashed equal.

actully this is the kid who was injured. i have to have 2 metal plates put into my face as well as 6 screws. i heard he laughed from everyone who was at the game. u may think he didn t mean to hurt me as bad as he did but he did mean to hurt me. other wise he wouldn't have gone down into a football stance. and just because there wasnt a call made doesnt mean it wasnt a foul. adn i deffinately dont have a clue as to how he got a bump on his head and is having recurring headaches because it wasnt from me he flipped me and i was on the ground i wasnt even near his head. not to mention the ball was on the ground at my feet. who are u???? and where were u on the field??? if it was just a freak accident why does he keep changing his story as to what had happened??? first he said we went for a header and then we just collided and now he said he went into a football stance to protect himself, im 6 inches smaller than he is and deff not as strong so what was he guarding himself from???

he's changing his story? i'm pretty sure you have never talked to him so how do you know what his story is? and his head hurt cause thats what hit you in the face, not his fist. he flipped you? it sure looked to me like you hit him then fell strait down. i sure didn't see anyone flip. he went into a football stance which drops his head to your heads level, because that is just his instinct from football. and here is something to think about when a car hits a brick wall in a wreck does the wall get hurt or does the car? oh and for you independence people the answer is the car.

If it was just a freak accident how did the page player come away with no injury and laughed about it. if the player who got hurt was you or one of your team mates I doubt you would be as smug as you are.

I was playing in the game! I hope everything goes well for the kid!! It was just a freak accident!! They were both going for the ball and he just got the worst end of the deal!!!

In last tuesdays preseaon game two players were going for a perfectly legitimant ball!!! The two boys were going to fight for a fifty fifty ball and the kid from Indpendence ended up getting hurt!!! So the are trying to say the Page player did it on purpose!!! Had the page player gotten hurt nothing would have been said and everything would have been fine!!! In a act of kindness I hope that player from Indpendence gets better and everything goes well so he can play again!!!

Last Tuesday in a preseaon soccer game against Indpendence two people were going for the ball in a perfectly legitimate play!! The kid from Indpendence ends up getting hurt and know they are crying about it!!! Had that been a kid from Page everything would have been fine!!! I hope everything goes well for that kid and he gets better so he can play again!!
