TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH I WOULD LET KNOW ATHLETE PLAY UNLESS THEY HAD A MINUMIN OF 20 MINUTES TO WARMUP.I WOULD'NT WANT THAT OVER MY HEAD IF SOMEONE GOT HURT.A GOOD PITCHER USUALLY HAS ABOUT 5 DIFFERENT PITCHES IT TAKES A WHILE TO GET EACH ONE WARMED UP SOME KIDS IT MAY TAKE 30-40MINS.I GUESS THERE IS NO RULE FOR YOU COACH JUST GO GET YOUR CHECK.

I KNOW FOR A FACT IT TAKES A PITCHER AT LEAST 20 MINUTES TO GET WARM.

Some teams don't play there best player because of seniority,the coach needs to play the best players and not play poltics with the parents.

I VE SEEN JP PLAY TO.SHE IS KNOW AVERAGE BALLPLAYER SOMETHING ELSE IS WRONG.I WOULD SAY SHE IS ONE OF THE TOP 15 FRESHMAN PITCHERS OUT THERE.

1 They need to work out about 4-5 times a week.2 They don't need to throw batting practice it increases their odds of getting hurt,I would hate to lose my stud pitcher in bp.3They need to continue to work with their pitching instructor through out the season to fine tune pitches, if catcher is available send her too.4 The catcher and pitcher need to work together as often as possible.5 It is also good for a coach to understand how all of her pitches work and what pitch works best for her against batters.That is were most coaches lack knowledge of understanding what pitches work best for each pitcher.Every pitcher has pitches that work better than others.
