  1. I'll be the first to admit that our girls did not play their best. But, I saw the game against Hampton and you can't tell me JCs defense is all that you make it out to be. I will say no more about the refs except that it would have been a much closer game if the game had been called right (especially on the walks). I do not disrespect the JC players, in fact I think they played a good game. I only hope that they do not become arrogant JC fans when they grow up. You're right, by calling you arrogant I did not mean it as a compliment. And FYI, the definition of arrogance is "too proud and contemptuous". Also, FYI....contemptuous means "showing contempt, scornful". And, one more....contempt means "the condition of being scorned, despised; disgrace". This will be my last post on this topic. I will not lower myself to your standards by getting back on here to see if you replied to this post. But I'm sure you will.....you can't help yourself.
  2. I'm not one to whine to anyone about a game, but I have sat here and read these posts and YES, I agree, JC fans appear to be the most arrogant of any I have ever seen too! Someone made a remark about S'town's turnovers, well I couldn't help but notice that the refs didn't call walks on JC players like they should have. If they had, JC would have had far more turnovers than S'town. They also didn't call near as many fouls as they should have. Anyone with halfway decent eyesight could see the fouls under S'town's goal that were NEVER called. I guess that is what someone meant in their post about this being 7A district...(I know I didn't quote exactly). Let me tell you one more thing, if any other team had lost their starting point guard in the semi-finals of the regional games, they would not have made it to the state like S'town. The fact that the others stepped up when they were needed says a lot for these ladies and I am proud to be a lady eagle fan! Go FORREST! Bring the gold ball to Chapel Hill!
  3. Yes, Haley was sick. She had been to the doctor the day before, but she was feeling much better that morning.....still not up to par, but better. My girls have played with her for years...she's tough and I'm sure after 2 more days rest like she has had will make a big difference in her game. Way to go ladies! All of Summertown is proud of each and every one of you.
