I went to Farragut tonight and watched my first South Doyle game just to see how good they are. I must have watched their JV team play because Farragut beat their paints off. 23 - 5 that was the worst high school game I have ever seen. I don't see them getting over this befor District but who knows 23 - 5 I still can't belive it.

Yes South Doyle scored all there runs in the first inning but so did DB ( their only run ). Holland was not having a good night. walked several batters early. Not taking anything away from DB they have a good team. But so doe's South Doyle and they also are loaded with a very talented junior class. Most of them have played together since they were 7 & 8 years old just like some of the DB boys. Most of the boys on both teams have known each other for years and are friends. I have a feeling both teams will meet again and I look foward to watching it . Good luck DB have a good season .

[ I got to watch the game Saturday night. Must say not one of Hollands best nights with several walks but DB still could not touch him. Brentz came in for the final 2 outs of the game. DB took a 1 - 0 lead in the 1st until SD had their first at bat. Zurcher and Fowler both got hitts , Haun got walked and Conley hit a 3 run doub. off the wall. Brentz moved Conley to 3rd. and I belive Tharp drove him in. 2 very good teams I belive they will see each other again. And who has the best Junior class lets just say both teams are loaded. I hear SD is playing Halls Monday could someone tell me what time. Should be great game.
