I agree, but who would move down? They have beat Mt. Juliet, but lost to Riverdale, and Mt. Juliet has 2 out of 3 contests against Riverdale. Goodpasture deserves to be above Brentwood, or tied with Brentwood, but they have losses to Hendersonville, Mt. Juliet, and several losses to Riverdale. How would you rank these teams. Record???? I do not know how he is going to do this.

Juliet ( beat Riverdale twice, lost once to them, won against Goodpasture but has losses to Hendersonville) 2) Brentwood ( two losses to Goodpasture, one in preseason one today, one win against Goodpasture, hasn't played Beech, Mt. Juliet, Hendersonville, 1 win against Riverdale) 3) Riverdale ( loss to Brentwood, and Mt. Juliet, but a win against Mt. Juliet, 3 wins against Goodpasture, win against Hendersonville) 4) Hendersonville ( losses against Riverdale, wins against Goodpasture, Mt. Juliet) 5) Goodpasture ( beat Brentwood but lost to Brentwood once, has loses to Mt. Juliet , Hendersonville, split with Beech,and 3 losses against Riverdale) or would it be : 1) Mt. Juliet 2 ) Riverdale 3) Goodpasture 4) Brentwood 5) Hendersonville Penalizing Brentwood because they haven't played anybody else so they can be ranked

Well, it is not very nice to cancel a game at the last minute as it is hard for the coach to find a makeup game. I hope Mt. Juliet had a really good reason. Maybe some of their girls or the coach is going out of town for the weekend. Is this a new game or is it one that has been on the books for a while?

Question, wasn't the 2nd baseman last year going to UT? Did she change her mind or redshirt? Where is Kaci Cooper? For that matter where is Natalie Weissinger? Both were going to UT, or were. I thought. I guess if you red shirt they dont put your name on the roster.

Your idea is good. You know district nine is a very good example of why our current system is so flawed. They have beech, hendersonville, Mt. juliet and Wilson central. These teams are the top teams in the state. Look at district 7 and you have almost the same thing. A great team out of this district has to go through Chattanooga, district 6 to get to the state every year.The chattanooga teams win first or second every year for the last .....what ten or so years. How fair is that? Dont forget the numbers thing. Region 5 has districts 9 and 10 in it giving a total of 15 teams, the other regions are close to the same except for regions 7 and 8 that have 8 and 5 TOTAL teams respectively. Do you call this fair???????? This is just in AAA ball. AA and A have the same problems.

maybe all teams should compete for berths to state like they do in travelball. Or maybe the super regional is a good idea. The current system is not really correct. How about division II with half as many teams overall and as many teams as AAA going to state. Odds of getting to state are excellent there too!!

You know with Murfreesboro's facilities and willing coaches it would be nice to allow more teams to participate in the state. My idea is to let the top two teams in each region go in A, which has about 98 teams, AA which has 99 teams, AAA which has 97 teams. So many good teams dont get to go. You could play it on two sites, the fields in Franklin behind Trinity school and the fields in Murfreesboro. ( Or you could use the local high school fields in Murfreesboro. It would mean more money for the TSSAA and would be better for all the girls. The way it could work: Division II which has only 39 teams would remain the same. 8 teams would go. I noticed in AA region 8 only has two teams and 7 only has 2 so maybe these two regions could combine, also the same thing in AAA , region 8 only has 3 teams and 7 only has 8 so these two should combine. This would give a total of 44 A, AA, and AAA teams to be able to go to state, and division II with 8 teams. what do you think?
