Well Oakland jumped out to a 13-2 lead early but White Co. had a run to cut it close after they hit a buzzer beating 3 at the end of the 1st quarter. The big momentum turn for us came after someone tipped in a free throw miss, the BULLDOZZZER stole the inbound and hit the reverse layup and then Wade stole the next inbound and i'm not sure if we scored on it or not but it seemed like it deflated White Co. Kit had another beastly game inside and Allen played great as usual.
I don't think they have the player scoring right for oakland tonight...i made the trip up to White Co. tonight and i know Fann had at least 2 points because JJ Taylor was called for an intentional foul on him and he made both free throws...
Wade held McCarver to 3 points when Oakland played Lebanon and you want to take McCarver over him? It's one thing to be biased towards your school but it's another to make irrational comments about it.
What are you talking about?!? Yea McCarver's an above average player for lebanon but he'd just be "another one of the guys" on any of the Murfreesboro team's. Allen, Wade, Thomas, Smith, Cutter, and Carter are all better guards than him.
Actually we made a song for the Siegel game before our new song, so it actually has absolutely nothing to do with riverdale getting to us. Thanks though
Why thank you d2d... and make sure to not get me confused with oaklandpower06...
Thanks for the backup 2P!
If Siegel's players admit that they are the "worst team in school history," that sure says a lot about the confidence in themselves and their teammates
Well from what the boxscore said in the DNJ this morning OHS didn't even hit one 3 pt. shot and anyone who has seen them play this year knows that the 3 ball is a big part of their game. Also the 3 posts for Oakland had a combined total of 9 points...outside game wasn't working, inside wasn't working...Oakland is very lucky to have come away from Cookeville with a win
I've got respect for Morant and I liked what i saw from him with his energy and court presence last night...i just think that your opinion of him being one of the top defensive players in the district is far off.
Siegel now sits at 9-8 and 2-2 in the district. I agree that he is somewhat selfish but for the Stars to be successful they need him to be selfish at times because, as you said, the offense is run through him. IMO he is still lacking leadership skills...he doesn't seem to make his teammates better ala Allen but as we all know not every team has one of him. If he can learn to do this, the Stars will be a hard team to beat in 2007-2008
If my memory serves me correctly, we put our reserves in immediately after your reserves, Hockenberry and some other kid, came in the game.
Haha...congrats on your win tonight bhspride
If i were Dotson, I'd watch what i said to Coach King after the game...i saw him confront King after the hand shakes- not sure what was said but neither seemed happy...
