During the SH game we were playing a very well coached team with a smart QB! It was just some missed assignment. And in every game your goin have that. Your good plays just have to out way the bad! Plus SH would rotate 4 guys to our 2,numbers beat you alot. This week numbers are even and not the same caliber coaching. Look for a big game for #15,#7,and #31 offensivly. Defense wil be just fine and solid! SH will put up alot of points this year, should finish 7-3! I still say North will be for championship,but they play cupcake teams to,which is a plus for the Cyclones!

Good game again by rivals! Both teams played hard,just to much speed and numbers for the Cyclones! #5 has alot of heart and is a smart football player! I hated #7 got hurt for SH! Spoke to him after the game nice kid, said acl tear. At leasthe went out with highlights big interception and td! Complex very nice just hard to get the kids into with buses and equipment! Sometimes not sure the announcer was watching the same game considering we dont have any kids named Dugger,but he made alot of tackles. And the first down thing was ANNOYING! Just a little history on Cyclones vs Toppers! In the last 10 years seven out of ten games have been won by 7 points or less! Cyclones took the 90's while Toppers have took the last decade! Start of a new decade! Its going to be a great game! Stats dont lie. Also Greenville has been a great rival taking 7 of the last 10! Here is the facts Greenville is not as good as last year! Hard to replace those athletes! But still very good! Elizabethton is not as good as 2 years ago! But are still very good! Johnson City is better than last year! Just geting in shape and learning Carters program! Toppers vs Cyclones,Sewer City vs Cow Town no matter how you put it every year is a good game! First off it was a great game atmospere. Big crowd,cold,good food,etc... The helmet dual was awesome and alot of your fans seem to like it. I hauled the helmet and I spoke to your a AD and he approved it on Tue. and thought it would be cool for both helmets to be on the feild. I was there early and met alot of nice Alcoa fans,not one person had a bad thing to say. Your coaches seem to be class acts,calling off the dogs was nice and not rushing the kicks was pretty classy. I spoke to some of your coaches after the game and they were very complmentary on our team and I quote " seems the road to the championship goes though Alcoa or Elizabethton from now on" which I took as a compliment. Alcoa has a great team and fans. I only hope we build to what you all have and maybe one day we dethrown you all. Till them ill just say see you next year in E-town. Good luck! When did I say you recruit, heck we all recruit granted you have more to kids to recruit from but thats just logistics. And once again is it our fault we play in this quad? All those teams may be better but I cant help that. But were they all better last year,or did we earn it? And have I disrespected Alcoa? I even said they were the best in 3a! What other idiots say I cant help kinda like we cant help who we play! All I want to know is if you think we earned this week for what teams we have to play?

This is what I mean you cant even say im right about earning this chance. What excuse have I made or whined about a win is a win and lose is a lose. There is alot to be said about how you act as a champion, And the champion is the leader of the pack so actions reflect leadership. First they do deserve it they earned no matter what bracket there in. Is that there fault what bracket they are in? And I dont talk trash cause there kids and I dont play anymore. And for years Elizabethton played up in class so we kinda cut our own throat or we may have a state title. Plus ive gave Alcoa respect they have earned it. But to say we dont deserve to be playing is wrong, these kids have earned it. Would it be better to play you and get beat or call and say were not coming. Who would you give more respect to?
