  1. apparently someone thinks you all don't like each other because the "redhotzdad13" supposedly heard name calling between the two of you and put it on here. Don't know anything about it, but that maybe the person you need to reply to and not me. i was just going by what they had said about the name calling. Personally, i did not here it, but you and Oakdales team members were on the field and someone outside the field must have heard it for everyone else to make such and issue. let's just let all of the crap lie and lets get on with the regions and as i said before good luck in the regions to all and as for the "play for your team" comment, i just want all teams to play like a team and not for people outside the fence. You all have to represent the county and the district and we all want to be proud. as i said above, enough said on this subject or any other outside stuff that has or maybe going on. PLAY BALL AND GOOD LUCK!!!
  2. i did not say Mr. Underwoods name on here, so back off of that, but yes i probably thought it was him, but i am a person who WILL admit when i am wrong about something, and maybe i was wrong about this. And yes, Miss Underwood, you will be playing on Monday and this is for you. Good Luck and play for your team.
  3. Isn't it funny though how you zero'd in on those two girls. unfornately there are outside softball reasons why those 2 really don't care for each other. But hopefully that will pass. There is no reason to put the girls names on here since you may have been the one and only one who heard it. I am not saying by no means that it was not said, because as you may or may not know, our kids will make liars out of us if you try and make they out to be perfect. You also have forgotten what i said about the coalfield girls attitude when going through the line and high fiving our coach rather harshly, but you know, you apparently didn't see that one either. But enough said, it is over and the Coalfield girls have moved on to the regions and our girls are anxious to watch the games. you also forgot what i said about the Oakdale and (some, mostly all)Coalfield girls uniting out in the parking lot and having a good time laughing and talking about stuff and the ballgame was forgotten about. yes, Coalfield and Oakdale having a good time together. but that must have not been seen. but like you said the regions are going to be good games and i hope all players are there for their teams and not for the ones behind the fence. this is a team sport. Best of luck to all and be safe!!!!
  4. ISN'T IT FUNNY THAT AFTER THE GAME THE GIRLS WERE ALL STANDING IN THE PARKING LOT LAUGHING TOGETHER WITH THE COALFIELD PLAYERS AND TALKING ABOUT THEIR KIND OF STUFF. THERE ARE SOME TIMES THAT I THINK THERE ARE SOME WHO NEED TO GET A LIFE AND FORGET ABOUT THINGS THAT HAPPENED IN THE FALL LEAGUE THEY PLAYED IN AND GET ON WITH IT. THE GIRLS ENDED UP HAVING A GREAT TIME TALKING WITH THE COALFIELD GIRLS (EXCEPT FOR A FEW) AFTER THE GAME BUT THAT BEING THEIR CHOICE, I THINK YOU NEED TO JUST LET IT GO. BOTH TEAMS PLAYED GOOD, COALFIELD JUST PLAYED A LITTLE BETTER. AS FOR THE CUSSING GOING DOWN THE LINE, IF YOU WANT TO BRING THAT UP THEN GO AHEAD. EMOTIONS WERE RUNNING HIGH AND I AM SURE THINGS WERE "HEARD" BUT APPARENTLY WHEN HIGH-FIVES WERE BEING GIVEN IN THE LINE, YOU NEGLECTED TO SEE SOME OF YOUR PLAYERS SLAPPING HANDS AT THE OAKDALE COACH AND MY GUESS WAS TRYING TO MISS. BUT YOU KNOW I AM NOT GOING TO STOOP THAT LOW AND DISCUSS THIS ANYMORE. GOOD LUCK IN THE REGIONS, BECAUSE U ARE GOING TO NEED IT. LET YOUR DAUGHTER PITCH HER GAME THE WAY SHE KNOWS HOW AND YOU MAY BE VICTORIOUS. SHE IS A GOOD PITCHER BUT NEEDS TO PLAY FOR HER TEAM, NOT THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE CAGE. GO BOBCATS!!!!!!!!!! IT'S A SHAME WE HAVE TO PULL FOR AN OUT OF COUNTY TEAM!!!!!

    o.s girls

As a parent of an Oakdale Lady Eagle i am here to say that the coach of the Lady Eagles would never tell the girls to run over some one because she knows about the friendship that is between you Wartburg players and the oakdale girls. There was a dispute on the play at 3rd base and she went to the ump to clarify if Alyssa was blocking the bag. he gave her his decision and that was that. Yes Alyssa immediately apologized for falling on Morgan and she told her to lets play ball because she knew this was not intentional. If you are trying to wind this around to the O.S. situation then from now on start another thread instead of keeping this one tied up. Holly would never tell those girls to knock her or anyway out of the way. She and Teresa have poured their hearts into this team after all the heartache of the accident with Jessica and then having to re-group. This team is strong and will stand strong after this accusation. But please start another thread and get off this one so this controversy does not get on us in Oakdale.
  6. during the fall league in anderson county, jessica grayson stepped up to the plate. she still had the rod and pins in her leg, and she was almost up to the old "Jess". There was one girl from coalfield that helped tremendously in the outfield along with Kari in the outfield. both had great arms in the outfield. but when you pull a pitcher and put her on third base and she basically plays on top of homeplate and has 3 consecutive balls hit to her in her glove and she looks at them as they simply roll away from her, that does not make her an asset. granted she is a good picher, but there are outside influences that are bad for her. this should not be a coalfield/oakdale squabble about a put together league in another county but it seems that redhotz13dad cannot get over it for some reason. Just chill and we will see you during the season. Just remember while Jessica G was out for the season and still in the hospital, her stats still had her at number 2 for strickouts in the district for weeks and she was not even playing.
