Beech has alot of talent this year.....but lets face it, who cares how many homeruns are hit in practice and how hard the pitchers are throwing in the bullpen. Hitting is more than homeruns and pitching is more than throwing hard.....all those numbers dont matter, its about getting the job done no matter how you go about it
I agree if you were not at that game you missed a good one. McAdams pitched great Cothem pitched great, Beech just got the big hit when they needed it. Beech moves to 21-3 and 5-1 in the district.
Were you in the dugout? Because i believe that would be the only way you would know if the coach was telling the kid to throw at a LaVergne player. I also heard the LaVergne catcher cuss at the third baseman after he was hit by a pitch following his homerun.
Beech has a great starting staff including McAdams, Hendren, Frey, and Wheeler, and have plenty of relievers if they can keep up their hitting they can do some special things in 2006
