Smyrna 2 - Rossview 2 Tied on Tuesday Night

Who looks good in both Districts?
-
I think the districts and regions are set for all programs (not sport by sport), with a heavy emphasis on football. They might put 12 schools in a district, even if only 5 schools have a girl's soccer program. Until this year, A/AA District 6 had 14 schools in it's district, but only 4 teams had girl's soccer -- ND, CCS, Hixson, and Eastridge. This year, with the opening of Signal Mountain and Sequatchie starting their program, they went to 6 schools.
What I'm trying to say is that even after the re-suffling that might occur, we are likely to see unevenly sized districts, at least as far as girl's soccer is concerned.
This is very true. We need the TN Coach's Association to step in and address this issue or soon your whole season will begin to be district games only.

Tullahoma always plays tough. Good job.

This is pretty much appalling. I can think of no greater travesty in high school soccer in the past 20 years. He has run a clean program and for those of you who say that he "abused" some of his players (in reference to some of the messages on leafchronicle.com), you were probably either players who couldn't hack it, parents of players who couldn't hack it, or fans and or players of other teams who got shelled by some of his teams. Correction UPSGregg: he never had a losing season. I'm guessing that the athletic director has someone in mind and doesn't like a warhorse. Probably going to get someone spineless in there just like himself. I used to love Donahue talking in interviews about how "Momma don't drive the bus on this team." Sounds like this guy is probably going to allow the opposite. And I certainly do not want to hear anyone say that "I'm glad someone finally stood up to him." In his 26 year tenure he was straight up with everyone unless they were not. If they were not, then he had nothing to do with you, whether you were a player, coach, fan, administrator, or parent. Wait, I forgot: he didn't deal with parents. So congratulations Clarksville-Montgomery County School System. You have successfully destroyed a legacy and have thrown away one of the most solid rocks in that shamble of a school system since Chuck Babbcock. I don't ever send out sarcastic messages, but this makes me sick. That school system hasn't looked out for one coach or teacher in years.
Again, Congratulations. I predict that program within two years to be on the same level as Montgomery Central or Northwest. My condolances coach. If I were you I'd leave that school and go take that coach's job at Rossview.
Yeah get rid of that Rossview Clown!

We can wish for the best and pray for the best for all athletes that this has happened to because it just stinks. Good luck to a quick recovery and come back stronger than ever to everyone.
-
Always a decent program. This team shouldn't be overlooked and will surprise some people.
-
I think a central site should happen.
-
Club is recognition for college. Yes, I think high school provides a lot for our athletes but their club play is observed more so by college recruiters than high school ball.
-
Rankings look good, as always, well done.
-
It doesn't look as if Station Camp is reporting results on Eurosportscoreboard. They don't have all their games posted.
-
Henry County is 9 - 1 right now, will they be able to step up and play their regional opponents: Beech, Hendersonville, Smyrna, etc., if they get to the region in post season play, which is looking well for their team.
-
Is Henry County still undefeated and who have they played so far this season?
-
I hear the "Flash" from District 10 AAA is the man, just what I have heard in that area. Don't know his real name, just his nickname. /ph34r.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="ph34r.gif" />

That is funny, I am guessing you are from Brentwood. I will predict your coach will wear blue jeans and a ball cap. If your not from Brentwood it's all in fun. It definitely will be a good game. Hendersonville takes this one 1-0.

Look, Agree or Disagree, No one is blowing anyone out in this District! There are very close matches here. This title is up for grabs. Dickson may be the favorite but all teams are close. There is not a team in this district that needs to overlook anybody. The bottom line is this. whomever advances will be against the wall when they face Hendersonville, LaVergne, or Gallatin. I know it's going to be hard for any of the teams to face them. This may be Dickson's Year to take District 10-AAA but that will be the most of it. I do agree with that you have to have a strong schedule and it will better prepare you for your District tournament. Rossview and Clarksville play Saturday night. This should be interesting with the young talent both are playing. Give Dickson some Kudos, all of these kids are playing their guts out for all teams. Again, good luck to all teams and we shall see what unfolds at the end of the season. Good luck to Gallatin as they are trying to prove their strength this season as well. Hendersonville needs no luck as they re-load every season.

Really, when you look at it. Clarksville High has been established in that District with some post season success from time to time. I think they are in a rebuilding year as Rossview is in the same situation which fairs well for Dickson at the District Level. It makes any team feel good to challenge their for their District Title. Northeast was hurt when Rossview opened and the rezoning. They had very good teams in the past but Clarksville typically beat them as they have Rossview. Rossview has been decent and is rebuilding still. I think Clarksville and Rossview are playing a lot of very young players. Dickson has returning Seniors and to my Understanding a few club players that quit or were released are back which makes them a strong contender. Hats off to Dickson and wish all teams well in post season play. You can never count out Henry County either. But like it has been said earlier, what can anyone do in the Region which is typically dominated by Hendersonville. I have seen them play several times this year and think it will take a lot of breaks on anyone the plays them from this District. But good luck to all anyway.
-
Houston vs. Brentwood would be a good one to see.
-
Yes, game is at 6pm..
-
Any predictions on the Brentwood - Clarksville match tonight? Post thoughts on scores of the match?
-
You will have to go with Clarksville because they have won the most District Championships. I think Dickson County will be the sleeper in this group. Rossview got blown out by Hendersonville. Henry County usually fields a competitive side as well.
Prediction: Clarksville vs. Dickson in the finals of this district. Any team that wins will find a hard road against Hendersonville in the Region.
-
Hendersonville has a solid core of players that could start for many teams..
-
Hendersonville - Brentwood , both look strong
