Coalfield fans disrespectful? Coalfield fans might have been yelling at Rockwood fans, but that is not as disrespectful as Rockwood fans yelling at Coalfield players. Plus Rockwood players and coaches are very disrespectful. Rockwood players kept trying and trying to start stuff with the Coalfield players, it got out of hand a couple of times also. If everyone would just play baseball and not worry about running there mouth about things. You should not run your mouth on the field about the game it is bas and disrespectful and makes your school and community look bad, but its even worse to run your mouth when you are down by 4 runs.

Well Region 1 will not see Rockwood or Harriman. Wartburg Upset Harriman tonight 4-3 Coalfield beat Rockwood tonight 9-6 as many people expected. Region Championship Wenseday, should be good game. Should also be 2 good sub-state games, i dont know much about Region 1a, but i kno that both Wartburg and Coalfield are 2 very tough teams to beat when they are on there game.

Coalfield has beat Wartburg 4 times this year and every game has been very close. Should be a good game, im pretty sure it is @ Coalfield(not positive thought). Hopefully, there will be a very good turn out. Should be a great game winner gets home field advantage and lower seed out of Region 1. Wouldn mind seeing both teams in state. Good Luck!!!

im not positive and i dont mean nothing bad by this, but does the coaches not pick the all district teams? I mean it like this say Gibson County had 30 games 20 non sitrict and 10 district(which is the coaches that voted). He could of had 20 homeruns and 30 rbis and pitched a perfect game everytime that he pitched in the, 20 non-district games and then in the district games he could of played like crap. Its the coaches that pick and it is there perspective that when they played Gibson County that he did not deserve it. I dont mean anything bad by this i have never heard the kids name before im from the east and i have no ideal who the kid is or how he has done this year. This is just my perspecitve, hopefully no one if offended.

Trout throws harder, has better off-speed, has movement on his fastball and hits his spots better. Daughty throws a low 80's fastball that is FLAT. The only reason trout is not there s because when he throws it messes u there whole defense. As i do recall Daughty threw a 9 hitter against coalfield in 7. Trout threw 4 innings and gave up one hit...the hit was a walk-off. Trout in my opinion is by far the best pitcher on that team. But i did use the word opinon some teams hit some pitchers better than other pitchers.

trout is by far the best player on that team....Pitcher,Defensivly, and offensively. He is there ace and has the best stick also. but that is just my opinion

The 2nd game today has been cancelled and rescheduled for Thursday. It was a good game, Johnston at a weak outing on the mound buyt still looked very good. Shoude be a good 2nd game.

OS has beat Wartburg twice, and played 2 very good games against Coalfield.
