I agree 100% bigchief, that has to be the dumbest thing i ever heard, yeah NCS is a good team but i would say the honor would go to Eli Carlisle or Clay Head from Jo Byrns...Will Clinard from East....Justin Teasley from East Lit....Jared Hill from WH-Heritage...nope but you know there is always a dumb rule takin away the honor from the real best player. Yeah man it is really tough especially when you are up 6-0 in the top of the 4th and bout to push them over the edge and leave Clarksville in 5 innings then they just started coming back. We going to be ready for tourney's though, we got 4 days of hard practice coming up starting tonight at 6...but congrats to yall tyler on yall's big win and 1st place seed going into the tourney's. Your exactly right about that, i just think McEwen isn't going to be able to hang with the #1 team no matter who it is, cause i think that the top 5 teams in our district not really deserve but all could of them could have ended up with a #1 seed. FINAL SCORE....East Robertson-8 Clarksville Academy-9 East was up 6-0 until the 4th inning when CA put up 3 runs on 4 errors...then we score none in the top of the 5th, they come back and score 5 in the bottom...no runs scored in the 6th, top of the 7th East comes up to bat with our #6 hitter, he strikes out, dan griffith walks, then travis pitt singles, colt alley then singles, clayton sneed walks and gives us one run giving us 7, CA 9...then i come up hit a sac. fly to score travis pitt...the john wilks comes up, hits the ball and the centerfielder catches the ball right at the fence and that ends the game, we really gave this game to them but i give them credit for fighting back and scrathing to come on top, congrats to them... I think the final rankings and seeds are like this. #1 NCS (11-3) vs. #8 McEwen (1-13) #2 CA (10-4) vs. #7 WH-Heritage (3-11) #3 Jo Byrns (10-4) vs. #6 East Lit. (5-9) #4 Houston Co. Yeah that does sound like it makes the most sence neutralfan but who knows? You know how the rules change all the time. East is going to CA today at 5:30 today, yall have any predictions or insight on this game? Your right it was a great game and we were talking to McDowell's grandfather and he was a really nice man that knew alot of about baseball, i liked his insight on the game. It was like having an announcer right beside me the whole time. I was going to ask him if he knew who you were but i thought he wouldn't know who i was talking about so i just didn't say nothing. And we love to play and watch baseball, i would be there to watch a game like that any day of the week. And it is a very tight race and i'm trying to think about what SHS said and i think my predictions are right. Cause Houston Co. will be in 4th cause they beat CA twice and we would be 3rd cause we beat Houston Co. twice. But who cares we will see the bracket on Thursday and everybody will be in there uni's on Saturday morning and afternoon to watch a very competitive district play ball. A.J., i know its you and you are just trying to start trouble. You know we hate Jo Byrns more than anything in the world and why would we be there to support them, we just went to watch 2 good teams play a ball game and if i would have had my pick i would have wanted NCS to win. Now say we get put out and we're not playing ball anymore then I will be a Jo Byrns supporter all the way. Just like in football, we want Jo Byrns to lose every game until our season is through then we'll route for them all day. So don't get on here starting trouble, and there was batters up to bat that i knew what to throw them to get them out and yeah i did say something but tsad is right, the coach is calling the pitches not me, so my comment had nothing to do with what was thrown the next pitch or to every batter on the whole team. If one person telling a catcher what to throw to get a person out makes yall lose then you just shouldn't be playing baseball at all. Fans shout stuff all the time and Friday i was a fan and specatator so i could say whatever i wanted to, to any guy on EITHER team or umpire. Congrats to NCS on there big win. And as for the tie breaker rule, you go by highest number of runs FIRST then you go to the highest seed ahead of you. But it really doesn't matter who we play, we are just going to go in and play OUR game.

These are all wrong neutral fan...if we beat CA and NCS beats Houston Co. twice then this is how it goes 1. NCS (11-3) 2. Jo Byrns (10-4) 3. East Robertson (9-5) 4. Houston Co. (9-5) 5. CA (9-5) 6. East Lit. (5-9) 7. WH Heritage (3-11) 8. McEwen (1-13) It would be like this because we would have the tie-breaker with Houston Co. and CA if we beat CA by more than 1 run. We would have split with CA and sweeped Houston Co. so therefore we would have the tie breaker between both of them saying we beat CA by more than one run. The other outcomes doesn't matter cause if we lose to CA then we'll be in the 5 spot for sure. But we would have the 3rd seed because of tie-breaker rules. Houston Co. would have tie-breaker with CA beating them twice. So thats how it is going to be in my mind. And we gave East Lit. there 9th loss on Wendesday so there district season if over. Everyone is through except for East Robertson, Houston Co., NCS, and CA.

Yeah i did hear that at the basketball district and region tournaments this year at CA, i was talking to a couple of the baseball players that were there just to watch the games and theys said they picked up an additional 3 players this year. And yes Houston Co. does play CA next week and yall twice. So things could shake up alot for Houston Co. and CA saying we beat CA and yall beat both of them then that puts us potentially moving into the 3rd seed saying Houston Co. ends up with 5 losses and CA with 6, we would have the tie breaker with Houston Co. beating them twice. East Lit. has the #6 seed locked up, not sure with the #7 and #8 seed between Heritage and McEwen, i know McEwen beat Heritage the 1st time they played 6-5, but don't know if they have played the 2nd game yet. If NCS wins out then they get #1 seed, if CA and Houston Co. lose 1 game then Jo Byrns get #2 seed. If NCS beats Houston Co. both times then beats CA and we beat CA and Houston Co. beat CA that would put East at #3, Houston Co. at #4, and CA at #5. Alot of different things can happen right now but we won't know until all these games are played out. Oh yeah Voldad if yall keep devoloping that sophmore that piched for yall yesterday should have a good 1, 2 punch with McDowell and him. Best of luck to yall! Zeke we play CA on Monday so there's no way yall play them to or maybe your talkin bout the Station Camp game. Hey i was at the Jo Byrns-NCS game, it was a really good game, alot of home runs at Jo Byrns field. Not alot of mistakes by either team, thought there was some balls in the outfield that could have been caught but still didn't really make any differences. Couple of base-running mistakes by NCS that would have game them 2-3 more runs but still a great game by both teams. Since Jo Byrns is our rival i wanted NCS to win but in my heart i wanted Jo Byrns to win cause alot of them are my friends and just got to route against NCS. But NCS pulled out on top, look forward to district tournaments. Everything is almost set now except for Houston Co, us, NCS, and CA which throws Jo Byrns in the mix. That is going to be the top 5 seeds, good luck to whoever gets 1st cause its crazy just to throw out all the possibliities.

Hey i appreciate it alot...i'll ask my coach if he knows anything yet. And someone reported to the newspaper wrong, we haven't got beat that bad in over 3-4 weeks.

We got beat yesterday but it was a non-district game so nobody really cared, we just played around and had fun. And still lost by like 2 runs and wasn't even being serious bout the game, i mean i caught yesterday, so it was just a fun day to try people out at different positions. Yeah i know what your saying and we wouldn't want you to miss Cal's dedication. But if we get the 4 or 5 seed then i think we will be the 1st game, not for sure but i think that is how it goes. If anybody knows what games are being played when on Saturday please update us. Tsad do you know cause i know yall are hosting so i didn't know if you knew how it was going to be played. Voldad you are exactly right....4 big games that will decide everything in the district....East vs. CA, Houston Co. vs. NCS, Houston Co. vs. CA, and NCS vs. Jo Byrns today. Houston Co. is 8-3 in the district because we beat them twice and i know Jo Byrns beat them once. They still have to play NCS twice is what one of there players told me the other day. We have 1 district game left against CA, big game, other big games in the next 5 days....Jo Byrns vs. NCS, NCS vs. Houston Co., us vs. CA..after these games we will know the pairings and who is going to match up against who in the district tournament. Appreciate the comment, yeah yesterday was one of those days that just didn't feel like a good baseball day. I think both teams weren't really in the BASEBALL mood to play like everyone usually is when it is hot and sunny outside. I know that it was hard to get set in the batters box, so you wasn't really comfortable swinging the bat yesterday, at least not for me. Good luck to East Lit. in the tourney! Well we got Portland today at there place and even though its not a district game coach is going to go down there today and really play to win. He usually pitches a freshman or 8th grader aganist non-district oppenents but today he is going to bring 1 of our 4 best. So who all else in action today, i know we're not the only ones playing. Dave we're playing really good right now and hey the district tournaments start next Saturday not Friday so maybe you could make it up here and watch us. Yeah he really wasn't on top of his game yesterday but he had a solid "D" behind him and we got the job done. Chantz has really stepped up at cather these last 2 games. We went down to Cleveland Park today and beat East Lit. 10-5...was a good game but never really close after we put up 5 in the 2nd inning, pretty much just smooth sailing for us. I think we scored 8 off of Ayers in 4 innings and 2 off of Teasley in 3. There field was really muddy and we were just slipping all over the place, prolly would have won worse but both teams play in the same conditions. Anthony Coffee pitched a complete game today giving up 4 hits with 4 k's. Alot of BB's but the umpire was by far the worst i have seen all year, he was the same for both teams so it was hard for both teams to get a strike called all day. So who all else played, nobody is posting anymore so i don't know any results. Looks like we are going to finish 5th even though we have only lost 5 games in district play, everybody is just so even so it really doesn't matter what seeds we all get. Yeah we are now 7-5 in the district with our 5-4 victory at Houston Co. today, so that puts them at 7-3 with only 4 games left. So yeah i'm pretty sure now that we are going to get a #4 or #5 seed with CA, NCS, and Jo Byrns getting the top 3, i believe NCS can beat Houston Co. but i just don't know how things are going to be played out. Our district is really dangerous because i believe every team besides McEwen maybe has at least 1 great pitcher. With i would say ours, NCS, and Jo Byrns the deepest. Well just thought i would inform everybody on the score of the game today. We'll know exactly how the seeds are and who we are playing next Friday for sure. Tuck said he can't post anymore cause he coach said he was talking stuff on here so he wanted to let yall know. They lost to Houston Co. today 4-1...he said they played horrible and sounds like they did with the hot sticks they have had lately. Looks like the district is shaking up bad. I hear Houston Co. only has 2 distict losses, is this true? Cause i know that we beat them and Jo Byrns, i thought NCS beat them to.

Hopefully we can help you out tsad06, we play CA next Monday. We got Houston Co. tomorrow, and we're all praying that it won't get rained out cause we haven't played a game since last Monday against Jo Byrns, i dont' know if that is a good thing or bad thing with such a long break, it was a chance for everybody to rest their arms and get their legs back under you but not alot of in-game situations. We scrimmaged each other but not the same as a real oppenent in front of you. Hopefully we can get these 3 remaining district games so we can get 4th maybe even 3rd. And yes Heritage is a really improved team, even better with Hill on the mound.

I don't have any problem at all, it just sounded like you were saying that we couldn't beat them or didn't have a chance and naw i'm not bitter bout yall beating us how many ever times in a row cause next year it will be a whole different story but that doesn't have anything to do with this year. Yeah this morning on the announcements i heard they played yall but they still didn't play good enough to win the whole tournament. Sycamore beat them 6-1 in the championship game, so in the 3 tourney's they have been in this year they have won 2 and finished runner-up. Good luck to you to swamptiger!
