i am from pickett county and i would like to warn them, especially sikwitit, not to get too cocky. yes pickett has a very good team, and i am sure that temple does as well. i have seen seth skogen play aau before when he was probably in 7th grade and he was really good then, so i can only imagine that he has improved tremendously since then. i think that this will one of the best games in tennessee high school basketball this year, and i hope that the bobcats come out of temple and grace with wins. however, talking trash and degrading both teams should definitely stop because they are ranked #1 and #2 for a reason. my prediction is that pickett wins by 3 in overtime.

yeah, how did justin bryant play tonight? he is almost as good as his brother Jace was back in the day!

tate is at anderson college in south carolina. he had 17 points the other night while hitting 5 threes. i am not real sure about gurley or meadows.

mccutchen played great last night even though he only played a little over a quarter because of foul trouble. mike is a very underrated player. he is long and lanky and has a smooth shot along with a good knowledge for the game. with him and jones, chester county should be a tough team this year. the game this saturday should be a good one.

i noticed on the scoreboard that smith county won the game. does anybody have any info about what went on in the game...leading scorers, rebounders, etc?

i must say that i agree with lions23 about Jamar Jenkins. i have played against him and have watched him play a few times, and with all due respect, i just don't see what the big deal is. he is a good player, but he just doesn't have the athletic ability to play at the d-1 level. not to take anything away from him, i hope he does have a good year and a good career after high school. i just think that there is probably someone in single a ball that is better than him, but that is just my opinion. he could prove me wrong though!

i will have to agree with muffin. it should be a very good game but i say that pickett comes out on top.

hey gomab, if you haven't already heard of joseph bailey from pickett county, you may want to consider putting him on your list. he led pickett county in scoring and he is only 15 years old. he was first team all district and should only get better in the next two years.

travis tate from york institute is an excellent shooter. york should be an even better team when he returns from his injury.

hey dustin, was the game ever close or did york jump on top right from the beginning. how did the starters for pickett play? how did leffew and ledbetter play for york?
