anyone notice a higher number of stress fractures/stress type injuries this season? or is it just nwhs? we have an awfule lot. like, 3 have a broken metatarsal (i have like, 2 broken, lol) in their feet, and a couple of ankles, and a ton of shin splints.
we were pretty dope, too, for a while. it's a shame.
any tips as to how NOT to get a stress fracture? i hurdle, and got a few in my trail leg foot... unfortunately not realizing the gravity of the situation until it was too late, midseason, and not time enough to recover. i take calcum now, cause my parents say so- but does that reall yhelp? should i do more plyometrics or what?
