1. I prefer to be like Dins8 and remain anonymous! I will say that I know a lot more about you than you know about me. (say hello to miss Jernigan for me!) /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

I am just a fan of Knoxville soccer who would like to remain objective. I think CAK will have a great year, but I also think that other teams will see an opening and go for the jugular.

you know you are driving me crazy right?

  2. Elmer, who are you? just wondering. CAK doesnt really mind losing to a good team but we never really enjoy losing none the less. but the true colors of a team come out when they dont win every game and continue to play. you learn more from losing than winning in my opinion. you learn what you need to work on from a loss. how they play the games after the loss is what the team is really made of

  3. Penquin, brilliant question. Unfortunately there's no way of knowing entirely what the new season will bring. As a lumberjack once told me let the trees blow and the axes fall for there is no certainty at all. So my advice would be to watch and wait and and don't try and predict-tate.

"WD", may i ask a question? when you were typing your response did it occur to you that it rhymed? almost like a person who tries out for american idol and is really bad so tries to compensate by making up their own song. you know the type of person, right? plus this is the soccer forum. not the wanna-be song writers forum. although you might be able to ask coach t to start one of those for you. maybe he will even make you a moderator for it. haha just playing WD

  4. QUOTE(brick25 @ May 24 2007 - 10:24 PM) 826466605Cak will win again and thus demonstrating that a/aa is the biggest joke ever im sorry but when ur championship consist of 3 teams who are not even ranked in the top 20 , nothing against cak but they have not proved anything new because after 5 times its clear to see that they can dominate very low skilled oppents. I would like to see cak and catholic go back into d2 or make a new division. Good luck to cak even though they probably dont need it and big g before u get back on and say that hume fogg and a/aa is great ... really think about it deep down u know that this is a joke

didn't CAK tie farragut 1-1 who is one of the AAA state finalists?? just wondering, can't remember /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

  5. QUOTE(asian invasion @ May 24 2007 - 10:31 PM) 826466610bro your post is a low blow and completely unneccessary. don't bring all that crap about divisions up again, its an argument that goes absolutely nowhere

i agree. why even start talking about that when you know its not going to go anywhere. anyways it was kinda off topic talking about that stuff

  6. QUOTE(ah20 @ May 17 2007 - 10:09 PM) 826461702Penguin, lampost, i'm impressed with you two. You guys are awesome guys and i've enjoyed seeing you two grow over the years. I'm proud of you for keeping your posts classy and defending your teammates. Dins8, I think I speak for everyone when I say thanks for your opinions and points about the game. Both CAK and Catholic are great teams, but very, very far from perfect and still have a ton of stuff they can improve on. It's awesome to have an "outsider" (someone not on our team) who can give insight into and critique our play so we can see aspects of our own game that we are lacking in and need to work on. And I love how you keep your posts unbiased and classy. I'd still like to know who you are though.... maybe you can reveal it after the season ends?

thanks, just so everyone knows, the penguin and i were typing our first posts at the same time so that is why it might seem like they sound alike.

thanks ah20. your a true friend and will be missed next year

  7. dins8 thank you so much for that. it makes me thankful that people are willing to give compliments and not just recieve them. your post was classily said. i might have disagreed a little but two people are bound to have different opinions. you could have purly bashed them but you said it in a way that did not degrade on the person. so thanks alot and i look forward to hearing your opinion on other games because i know that you wont bash players but you will state your opinion. thanks again

  8. if anyone is wondering, i do play for CAK so i might seem biased. as for tarr, (i forgot it in my previous post) i agree with thebigpenguin. who would seriously want to sit out one of the biggest games and a fierce ( i can't spell so sorry for anything mis-spelled) rivalry between two schools less than 2 miles apart? i know there are some guys on our bench with season ending injuries who would give anything to play in this game. again thanks for the compliments and critism. no team ever got better without being told where someone saw a fault.

  9. i understand that this is just the opinion but i would like to throw in my two cents. i believe that pifer played awesome. he wasnt afraid to take on the defenders, in fact i believe he wanted to. and sure he might not have scored to be successful by other peoples standards but on CAK we dont measure success with goals. and i know that you didn't necessarly mean that. so to david, you played awesome!!!!! as for number 2, he might slide alot and stab but that might be part of his style of play. just a thought. all that i really know is that he never gives up and plays with passion every single game. personally, i look up to him and the intensity with which he plays. he never gives up. even when you are down 1-0 with 10 minutes left. he truly leaves everything on the field.

i thank you for the complements about our style of play. it is always nice to hear that. catholic played an awesome game. we might have outplayed catholic for the first ten minutes as some might say, but catholic played with intensity for the whole 80 mins. as for the goal, wow!!!! that is all i can say. a truly magnificent goal. just beautiful.

good luck to catholic and the rest of their season.

thanks for reading. just my opinion

  10. QUOTE(asian invasion @ May 11 2007 - 06:52 AM) 826457120hahahahaha your so cool dude!!! i guess your right....this whole game has to do with tarr keeping his head, not about soccer at all....you REALLY know your soccer stuff bro, congrats

i agree, its about how the team plays and not about a single player
