  1. How big of a school will Liberty Creek be?  Nolesnville is already impressive on the 4a level, so it's not impossible to be good quickly.  Stewie starts almost all seniors, so next year get ready for the dreaded rebuilding year.  I feel bad for Rockvale being without their 2 best players from injuries but brighter days are ahead for them and it won't take long.  I am somewhat concerned at how long it's taking to get the new Hillwood-Bellevue High built.  Bellevue has almost as many residents as the LaVergne/Smyrna area combined which has THREE large high schools while Bellevue has none.

Quit playing the “safe fan” role, it’s ok to admit your team is high caliber. They win this week big!

I appreciate your vote of confidence and they did get 13 votes in the new 6a AP Statewide poll and that is a first in school history.  Even if they do win (by a lot or a little and either would be a win, so there's that)... the toughest game left on the schedule looms next... Cane Ridge.  It's a home game and will be a packed house (weather permitting).  If Stewie wins at Clarksville and vs CR, the odds of them running the table for a first ever top seed and home playoff increases exponentially.

I don't know about winning 6 games but the playoffs should certainly be in play. They have Antioch, LaVergne, McGavock and Overton all in region as very manageable games. They can lose to Cane Ridge and Smyrna ( who didn't look good either) and as long as they win a handful of those games above still make the playoffs.

They would be thrilled to get a north county sweep over LHS and SHS.

I guess you don't mind SC scheduling tough teams so much now, do ya? Congrats to SC

This is the year Stewie needs to make hay.  Smyrna got boat raced on their home field.  Antioch predictably got demolished.  LaVergne struggled in the first half vs a team that had never played a game before.  There is an opportunity for SCHS to get a really good seed and actually host a playoff game... and maybe advance... two things that have not happened before.

Stewarts Creek needs to just beat the teams in their region and with them being in the same region as Antioch, McGavock, LaVergne, and Overton they should be able to get 4 wins making them a possible 4-2 in the region and at least a 3rd place. Also, Overton is no longer on probation.

This says Overton and Antioch both got a 2 year ban from playoffs...

How are they doing the enrollment at Rockvale?  Do you have to go if your a senior/junior or is it an option to leave your former school?  I remember playing Stewart’s Creek early in their first couple of seasons and they had a ton of underclassmen and very very few seniors.  That in itself could be an indication of how well Rockvale will do early on.  I think Gallatin will be their first true scrimmage of the fall.

Wouldn't it have been nice for Stewarts Creeks first game to have NOT been at Ravenwood?  New schools should schedule the lower level metro school for their out of region games at first and not do some of the crazy scheduling Stewie did.  Indy, Brentwood, Blackman, and now Mt Juliet.

  7. I think the swing game could be at Station Camp who was 3-7 last season.  If Stewarts Creek can win that one, is there a good chance they go 6-4 or better and make the playoffs?  Obviously they will not beat Mt.Juliet and I have no idea why they keep scheduling that way.  They should be playing nearby Nolensville, also a newer school and just across the county line.
