  1. Sometimes a Rooster, sometimes only a Roster.

Both will be OK...it may be after this season is over, but they will recover.

    Obvious Calls???? /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> You can't say anything to a BB ref now when he tells you the same thing. /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

it was just a little bit different situation, powder puff to bball games, lol.

  2. Well, that tells me where your attention was Saturday at the powder puff game. /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> He was on crutches next to all the kids (Timmy, Roster, Jake, Brandon) yelling at you. Joshua, as I understand it, has either a MCL (tear/strain). I'm not sure which one or how bad.

With Joshua and Bobby both on crutches..Sc can't afford to get another WR/DB hurt.

By the way...I thought you were supposed to ref that game...did you even have a whistle or flag?

I thought that was Joshua but wasnt sure, thanks for the update though Termite, hope Bobby and Joshua get to doing better, btw when did Rooster become Roster? lol As for the reffing, I didnt want to be one of those refs who decides the game, just thought me and JP would let the girls duke it out, make the obvious calls.....lol /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

  3. I'll be surprised if TC can goose-egg the tigers and I expect it to be closer than 35 points.

Hope your right, but TC is really good this year, and Gordonsville is young and had some injuries at key positions. I think the Tigers can make it a ball game though. Good luck Tigers /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

  4. In a game that was under the radar, and did not get alot of publicity on the T, the Gordonsville FCA Tigerettes beat the Smith County FCA Owlettes 37-19. Coach Bob Dillard coached a great game using the jet sweep with Taryn Smith, while Jana Watson and Morgan Dillard came in at QB and had more passing yards than Jonathan Crompton on the whole season. Both teams played a great game. The game was put on by Campus Life, Young Life, each schools FCA group , and First Baptist Church Carthage. Great job to all who were involved.

  5.

Those kids where taken care of!!! Bad Apples in everytown!!! Thats why everytown has its own law enforcement!!! /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

BTW - Just being informative - Don't bring large sums of money and leave it out for someone to snatch!!!

WHERE did u go to school? I know they taught better grammar than that on the hill, or did you learn that at the Police Academy? /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

  6. Yeah everyone seems to be spending more time working now days. Since the fuel went through the roof. Lot less participation than last year in here.

Dang, I thought you was giving me a status above Antwan there for a moment. I am crushed now. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

Sorry MO$$$, I know it probably meant alot to you, to be mentioned in that company is big /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

  7. I said they were balanced and you followed several sentences saying the same thing. They are balanced. So I guess we agree on that. Just not effective when it comes down to it. Mr Munson. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> By the way. I also said this game was for the region title. Did you miss that post? Try talking before a game. Not after. Gives you the right to serve some crow. Like the lottery. You have to pay before the drawing. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

I wasnt calling you the supreme being of football, dont give yourself that much credit. I was talking about something I believe Antwan said earlier this season, just poking fun. Yes I did miss the post, I dont get on here as much as I used to and post because I dont have time and isnt a priority as much but I like getting on here and reading some and making a comment every now and then.

  8. I wouldnt bother arguing with the supreme being of football MO$$$. I believe it was he who said this was SC's most balanced team in awhile or something of that sort. Can't forget about the 04' or 06 team and they both won the region something this team wont do. For SC the season isn't over, but I doubt anyone else in this region will beat York or SC. York probably has the regular season region title this year, but SC has a good team loaded with speed and I think they will be fine and it could go the other way if they meet again. I think the two 4th down conversions for York, one leading for a TD took a little wind out of SC's sails. Yorks defense really tightened up in the 2nd half and SC's balanced offense was not very effective. But they will be well prepared by the coaches to face whomever they play next week if they do play, and will be fine the rest of the season. Good luck to the Owls

  9. I'm sure the Officers up there no you real well!!! /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> And yes it could have been harrassment, does that sound familier??? From what I seen of you, it looks like you might have harrassed a few people in your life!!! Or maybe thats annoy??? Anyway, those kids may be big but not nessicarily grown as you and me!!! Well, let think about that??? /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> Not as grown as me and some of the others on here!!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

Now now Glover, you wouldnt be talking about someone else being annoying or not grown up would you????? lol

  10. Both LA and UHS have good enough teams to probably make it to the Boro, LA definitly. I'd say you will see these teams play about 4 times this season, 2 in regular season and 2 in the postseason. So get used to each other if you are not already

  11. Not a chance and i need to just delete that post so as to not start anything. i have the utmost respect for the coaching staff and people of Gordonsville. That gym has been very good to us. I was told that by a parent of one of the athlete's there in Gordonsville but i found it very hard to believe so therefor i asked. From all that i've heard G'ville should have a very good team this year. In your opinion how good will they be? I know when we beat them in overtime two years ago they had a very good team that year, will this team be as good? How is the big blonde headed kid doing in college? I always liked his game and work ethic on the floor. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />

Well, that'O.K. When you look at it on paper, they should be O.K., maybe a top 3 team in District 8A. Friendship will be very good, as will Trousdale. The Tigers, as I said earlier, only lost one player (a big player) from last year's team. They still have Vaden, Malone, Bradford, McCaleb, and Austin (didn't play last year - torn ACL) as the Senior class. The Junior class will see a lot of playing time as well with Whigham, Bennett, and Randolph. Also some Sophs. that played last year in Sanders, Rodriguez, and the addition of a 6'3" power forward Woodmore. They have a solid starting line-up, and depth off the bench with players who saw a lot of playing time due to the injuries and health issues they had last year. We'll see how it goes in a couple of months. Should be exciting. GO BIG BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!

  12. I heard that Gordonsville's coach was involved in an altercation with a player and was dismissed. Any truth to this rumor?

Don't have any idea what your talking about. Coach has been there all summer. Had good camps from everything I have heard; and all the players are in place. Only lost one player from last year's team. You would'nt be trying to start any ugly rumors would you Dev?

  13. How many players did Trousdale lose off of last years team? I know Westmoreland lost a few we (Jackson County) played them in camp and it was ugly both ways as we lost all but one of the starters from our State tournament team. Friendship will always be good for the obvious reasons. /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />

I think TC lost two players (Williams & Luster), Westmoreland lost several (about 4 or 5 I think), Gordonsville lost 1 (District MVP Josh Williams), FC lost 1 I think as well. Should be a very exciting season in District 8A. GO BIG BLUE!!!!!!!!!

  14. Even tho Gordonsville BARELY beat Trousdale and Westmoreland, They choked when it counted. They ended up 3rd in the district. This upcoming season there will be 3 teams competing for the district championship. Its gona be a really competitive year but I see TCHS comin out on top. GO JACKETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They lost one player to a knee injury, and they lost a post player (Malone), broke his wrist the last game of the season at Watertown. So they were not at full strength; but that's the way it goes. They only lost one off of that team so they have a chance to be pretty good again this year. GO BIG BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  15. Congrats to Coach Apple and good luck in the upcoming season..... Except for two games that is /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> He will do a fine job. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

  16. I believe we are going to need something more than a grade school coach. We need a Bobby McWilliams type coach. May be a nice kid but I don't see it...or Z King of Swing either.

Coach Whitaker would probably do a great job as would Coach Apple. Whitaker was under Melton at LA for a year I believe and under McCoin at LA for a couple years to I believe. And I'm pretty sure Bobby McWilliams or someone like him wont be knocking on the door. With really no teaching positions open as I have been told, it will probably be someone in house to get the job unless neither of the two assistants from last year realy dont want to do it. I dont believe you have to worry about seeing me there.... Still got a year of school left and I'm probably not allowed back over after crossing to G-ville lol, just kidding. Whats wrong with me???? huh???? lol

  17. Don't think Scott wants the job.....might not have stayed if Stacy had stayed. New baby and all. Hear tell he was gone so much the baby didn't know who he was.

Hey....if he wanted it ...that would be great though....

Revolving Door is a good description......Hard to compete with Livingston,Upperman,Smithville and the toughest opponent in these parts......football.

King.......we need somebody to hold the fort down till you get here....any suggestions????

Nope, but I appreciate the thought Termite. Just need one more year. I'd like to see coach Apple take the job, he would be a good tough coach. But new baby and all I could understand not wanting to do it. Good luck to SC in finding someone!
