  1. you must not watch McCallie or MUS play much or any of the other top couple of teams play. The shooters these guys have wont even be phased by Franklin's goalies this year and i wish Franklin the best of luck this year but i just dont see it happening. They should make playoffs and beat USN and Houston but they will have a hard time getting Brentwood and MBA i dont know much about CBHS this year but that might be the next closest game they have division 1 wise. I wouldnt be surprised to see a less hearty schedule this year also with it being just conference D1 teams, and ravenwood and maybe MBA and then probably mostly D2 schools. Defense looked pretty solid, i know middie lines were mixed and had spots that were missing but passing and catching and working the ball around will be key this year its going to take more that just 1 or two guys to carry this team.

  2. Ravenwood i could see in the top 5 or maybe final 4 even i have watched them some in the fall and they look solid but franklin has too much to worry about right now before they can get on the same level as the top teams in the state i wasnt as impressed with brentwood as i thought i would have been and i didnt see catterton standing on the sideline last saturday

  3. Thus is the price for having a power program like Franklin's. With this new system, it is going to be tough to find a combination of an adequate amount of home game combined with a worthwhile opponent. I wouldnt blame the coach for the scheduling as much as I would blame all the new changes for having to go out of state. Not many low-middle of the pack teams are going to want to play Franklin now, they will be more interested in try to pad their schedule in hopes of making the playoffs, so Franklin's in-state options for the forseeable future are going to be pretty slim. The 4 home games maybe frustrating, but its not like all of your league opponents are an hour drive from FHS............

when the new classifications were announced i thought i read something about how they were supposedly created to cut down on travel for some of the teams in east TN and other areas that have to travel far for region games if i read this correctly it seems like the T$$AA needs to rethink this.

  4. My question is why are we playing so many teams from so far away and why is there only four home games? I for one have season tickets and it is a shame that with the new costs for these tickets that we only get four home games!! That is two years in a row for only four home games? Who made the schedule the AD that was forced to leave so he made a RIDICULOUS schedule or did the football coaches make this schedule???? Last year I bought my ticket and then the Hillsboro game got moved to Nashville and we had to buy that ticket also. Two years in a row for only four home regular season games something is wrong with that, PERIOD!!

Eggleston was gone before the schedule was made and the student and adult athletic passes/reserved seating have all gone up its a shame.

  6. Maybe I am missing something here....but there were quite a few Baylor players left off this list. I believe this was just Baylor's 2nd of 3rd year of competitive Lacrosse.

I have 1st Team all state on Long Stick Mid Field....Matt Tidwell of Baylor

2nd Team Isaac Garner and Sam Ector from Baylor both Attack

2nd Team Midfield Austin Cole from Baylor

2nd Team Defender Nichols Millard from Baylor

Thats because that is Division I All-State only not DII

  7. I'm not sure. I go to MBA and play for the lax team. Our game against cbhs in the quarterfinals is not happening tomorrow. I'm not sure what is going to happen. We are supposed to host the semis and championship game, but i have not heard anything at this point.

From what i know, MBA is reopening like 4 days before the finals, which also would mean their team is not allowed to play untill about 4 days before the finals. Are they going to give Christian Bros a automatic seed to the semis, ask another team to play instead, or will they wait it out. I hope no other schools are effected by this.

  8. McCallie (1) vs. USN (8) winner of this game plays winner of CBHS (3) vs. MBA (6) in the semis

MUS (2) vs. Ravenwood (7) winner of this game plays winner of Farragut (4) vs. Brentwood (5) in the semis

i thought i was right on the seedings...mba being 6th seed made me doubt though

  9. Im not 100% sure about this but i know McCallie and Farragut both have home games so i am goin off of that and my other figures but...

    McCallie (1) vs. USN (8)

    MUS (2) vs. Ravenwood (7)

    CBHS (3) vs. MBA (6)

    Farragut (4) vs. Brentwood (5)

  10. well its starting to get close to the end of the season with the wild card game starting may 2nd.

Baylor has two cupcake games left vs. webb bell buckle and ND chatt.

Ensworth also finishes out with three weaker opponents in USN hendersonville and hillsboro..

JP2 has centennial, ND chatt and father ryan left.. if JP2 beats CHS they lock in the #1 spot in the central

centennial has two must win games to stay out of the wild card vs. JP2 and Cookeville... if centennial wins out it will look to be a 3 way tie in the district between pope, ensworth, and CHS..

cookeville also has a hard end of the year games with webb-knox tomo and CHS tuesday....

Its a topsey turbey finish with so many scenerios its ridiculous...

give an opinion or any corrections if ya got um... /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />

Ensworth got beat 12-0 by USN i wouldnt call that a weaker opponent

  11. Thanks. Always enjoy any event we do from MBA, they treat you like they are glad you're there.

Weather was "ugh", never did an event that you could hear the sleet hitting the bleachers . Not a bad game, I think that Pope may have been caught off guard a little by MBA or it could have been "Bus Lag" (I think they were in Memphis on Sunday).

I'll try to have the game up for replay on Tuesday.

they lost to mus 11-4 too
