guys lets just not even go to the boro. cause tc is gonna be playing the Florida Gators right before we get there to warm up for us. heck last year tc beat em by 60. they r gonna join the SEC next year. heck their whole team for the last couple of years have signed D1. would have went straight to the NFL if the NFL wasn't scared they would hurt somebody. man. from the way these fans are talkin we are about to play the best team in the nation regardless of classification. i bet they would be this stubborn if they was playin the Class 5A state champion. no way can TC loose. it isn't even possible. besides everybody knows why tc wins on the creekbank. their scoreboard don't work. only points on the home side show up oh. and what is the mercy rule in football. i thought that was only in baseball.

every year DA won a state championship JB could have beaten them VERY badly. I knew a lot of the people that played for DA and was related to a couple and even they admitted they weren't in our league, after they watched us play. so that really isn't a good comparison. you can't compare DII-A to DI-A.

i hate it when people bring old stats into games. it doesn't mean a thing. this game is an entirely new season with new trends. the truth is no one knows what is going to happen or how it is going to go. you can take all those little trendies and throw them out the window. in 05 jb beat ER who beat goodpasture who won the 2A state championship. could jb beat goodpasture. i don't think so. in 05 TC beat livingston who won the 3A state championship. could TC beat livingston at the end of the year. i saw both championship games and TC would have been obliterated and lost by 30 or more. that livingston team was a different ball club toward the end of the year. trends don't mean a thing gentlemen. throw them out the window.

that is true. one year jb was 2-8 and lost most of its starters. the next year jb was 13-1 and missed out on the boro by 21 points, 14 of which were off desperation interceptions in the fourth. nothing but chemistry made that team successful and it was not expected at all.

I think that it is safe to say that with the excellent coaching staffs of each team that their techniques will be nearly perfect. and with the heart of both teams the size advantage will yield little leyway for TC. ive played agianst much bigger and better players and still come out on top every play because i was meaner and wanted it more. what is going to decide this game is mentality. will tc overlook jb. if they do they will loose. will jb be intimidated by tc. if they are they will loose. mentality will decide this game gentlemen. not size, speed, technique, preparation, want to, talent, or anything else. i believe that they are fairly even in that respect.

gold is a universal color. its atomic radius is large enough that the nucleus has a minimal effect on the outer electrons. therefore they travel at nearly the speed of light, which gives them relativistic properties. that is why pure gold has a color that isn't even close to that of any other element. well, theoretically it has no color at all when you get right down to it. so the color blind think doesn't hold.

i will say one thing that is just an observation. TC has an AMAZING *AMAZING* coach that could make a powerhouse out of any team given time. he is arguably one of the best coaches in hs football today and because of that tc will come prepared and ready to play. also i think that coach adkins has just reached that same level that the tc coach is on. it took him a while but he is there and jb will come prepared and ready to play as well. both of them seem to be AMAZING at breaking down film and preparing their players. also both teams has all star assistant coaches who are probably just as good as the heads but don't get the recognition. congrats to both teams coaching staffs because without them these kids wouldn't be here. they are champions as well. we talk about the players skills and attributes, but those of the coaches has just as much impact on the game as the players do. and both coaching staffs are tip top.

can anyone give an honest, accurate stat of the size of tc's offensive and defensive line. please. if you don't know for a fact don't post to this. i've heard "their entire line is 6'2" and 255 pounds" and when we see their team all their linemen are less than 6 foot and weigh about 185 pounds.

Congrats to jbhs. i feel like i am as much a part of this team as the actual players are. me and my team started the winning tradition in 05 and 06 and now we are at the boro. i am so proud of all the players and coaches and what they have accomplished. i am with you guys all the way. i played with all of this years seniors and juniors and WOW have they grown up and taken control of their own destinies. you guys amaze me and i am so proud of you. GO JBHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now that all of my lovin is out of the way i will give an honest assesement of the game at hand. jbhs has done something that their previous teams, the ones i was on, failed to do. they are peaking at the end of the year instead of the beginning. they are playing better and better each week and coach adkins has finally figured out how to keep them peaked. both teams are VERY talented or they wouldn't be here. TC can say whatever they want but any team can loose on any given night at this level of play. jo byrns can beat trousdale by an ungodly amount if they do not come prepared. and the same goes for tc beating jb. this game will come down to preparation and mentality. like every other game does. to jo byrns: do not get the big head at all PLEASE! you have been playing above your heads through the playoffs and that is why you have gotten this far. it has served you well and if you continue your results will continue as well. maintain your mentality and focus and channel that towards preparation and you will have a VERY good chance to win.

this game is all about preparation and mentality. if jb has the big head at all or lets up just a little bit they will loose. if they overlook mckensie in even the smallest minute way they will loose. same thing goes for mckensie. this will be a game of mental state and preparation. it will be whichever team is better that night. on night jb might win by 30 and the next mckensie by 50. its all about mentality people. jb, keep playing above your heads and you will be okay. a sub par team can win a state championship if they play above their heads, and a good team is unstoppable if they play above their heads. keep it up jb. don't let up even a little bit. no big head please.

I played in 05 and we were better than union city. i know. i was on the field. we played horribly. oh well. its in the past. at least trousdale didn't make us look horrible. lol

hmmm......i think that both teams are deserving of the region championship title. and both very good teams or they wouldn't be here. i would go as far as to say that jb is just as bit as good as cascade. and cascade is not any better than jb. i think that this game will be a toss up. whoever is on their game will win. it will be one of those the better team on that night, kind of things. thats why i am not going to make a prediction, because it will have no basis besides biase. and i try not to predict outcomes without good reason for it.

we were capable of much more than you saw. if we were playing like we did in that stretch we would have hung 45-50 points on mtp, and any other team in the state for that matter. and that is no joke. but oh well its all in the past and has nothing to do anything. just my random opinion on things.

I just want to say one thing. you can throw out all scores and trends from past games out the window. they don't mean a thing. in fact they mean less than nothing. it doesn't matter how many points cascade scored last week or how good their offense is. it doesn't matter that jb has an amazing defense, and it doesn't matter how good their offense is either. this is a completely different beast gentlemen. this is the playoffs and there are no trends. each week is a different season. cascade might come out and get beat 45-0 this friday or jb might come out and get pummeled. and really we have no way to tell until the game starts. in 06 jo byrns had one of the highest scoring offenses and the best shut down defense in the state and we lost to a sub par Mt. Pleasant team (no offense to mtp). it was a new season and all those past stats and trends didn't mean a thing. when we stepped onto that field that night we were half the team we were in the middle of the season. if we had been playing in the playoffs like we played in the season no one could have touched us, and thats the truth. i saw jcs and fcs in the title game and jbs was better than both when we were on our game. i respect everyones opinions and your welcome to them. but remember it is a new season and it doesn't matter what happened last week or any other time. this week is the only thing that counts or there won't be a next week for them. now let us fans get to speculating some more!!! good luck to all.
