  1. HAHAHAHAHA! Maybe in the league with last years team. If they were in the league of the 05 team they would be un-freakin stoppable. i think you guys can remember that team. i will admit it. even though we won they were better than us. and the next year we were better but mtp won. and i have no idea about last year. and i wouldn't consider loosin by 2 points in 06 gettin roughed up. and we only won by 1 point in 05. i would consider that to be very, very balanced. and both years we i think we help mtp to some of their lowest stats for they year. gettin roughed up is a overstatement man. at least for 05 and 06.
  2. I did the full edit and it isn't showing up. maybe you have to be a plus member. i looked all in that post and in all the side bars and below and it is nowhere to be found. sorry.
  3. dream in one hand and crap in the other and see which one fills up first.
  4. i couldn't find the "manage Poll" perhaps a little more instruction would help.
  5. almost to different to compare. totally different offensive strategy with a good defensive system for both teams. its anybody's ball game.
  6. lets not put any names on any profiles. it is better that way. if someone wanted the coacht readers to know exactly who they were then they would tell everyone. i personally want to remain slightly anonymous. i give enough info for my friends to know who i am but no more. and his name is chris tuck and he plays at Rhodes College at the line backer position. lets not put any names on any profiles. it is better that way. if someone wanted the coacht readers to know exactly who they were then they would tell everyone. i personally want to remain slightly anonymous. i give enough info for my friends to know who i am but no more. and his name is chris tuck and he plays at Rhodes College at the line backer position.
  7. good post! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  8. Wow! that is a very, very, good explanation of each team's theology and strengths. you know what you are talking about. i'm guessing you are a former coach. and you are right. the winner always has to 'impose' his will and make things happen for him. i think that it will be a low scoring game due to the fact that mcewen will eat clock with its running game and limit the amount of time cascade's super powered offense is on the field. then with mcewen's offense on the field all the time cascade's defense will get tired and it will be easier for mcewen to score. plus with a rested up mcewen defense it will be harder for cascade to score. that is the approach i think they will take, but i have a hunch you know more about these two teams and football strategy than i do. what do you think.
  9. hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  10. i said if it was like 05 and 06. and from your reactions i think it is still that plain (and sweeps, veers, and sweep passes do not constitute trick plays). if it wasn't the same as 05 and 06 they wouldn't be throwin such a fit. its actually a rudamentary psychological trait that people get a little upset when some true that they don't want to address comes up. logger, i think we are getting a little to close to the truth and they are gettin jumpy. oh well, i don't know anything. even though i studied them extensively and memorized all 10 plays that they ran for two years in a row i don't know anything. i've never had a thought in my life. i don't have a clue. thats why we were able to shut down that wc offense to one td. the reason we could shut them down was runnin 10 plays limits the surprized on the defense. we knew what was happenin right when the ball was snapped. and the next year they ran the EXACT same plays with no deviation. yeah, i don't know what i'm talkin about. just ramblin my friend. but the truth will come out friday night regardless of what we say same playbook or not. good luck jo byrns, and i will pray for no injuries for either team.
  11. it is true that you have the "legal right" to say what you wish. However, your post infered an attack on the cascade fanbase as a whole. and no one has the right to stereotype a group. sarcasm is difficult to read in text so perhaps you should be more direct next time. as far as cascade could not contend in a larger classification. if you remember correctly Trousdale County(1A) beat the eventual 3A state champion (Livingston Academy) by 4 or 5 touchdowns. and trousdale had a couple of close games that year. and jo byrns beat the region champion of the region with goodpasture, DCA, CPA ect. in it with goodpasture winning the state championship later that year. so by judging that a 1A team could have won the 3A state championship (with trousdale) and the 2A state championship (jo byrns) if you go by records alone. however, i know that those two teams that year could have contended very, very, very well in any division excluding 5A. even then they would have had a winning record. i have been there and done that and seen what a team can do. and if cascade is as good as the jb team of 2005 and 2006 then they could compete and be successful in a larger classification. HAHAHAHAHA i love you!
  12. I have room to talk. i am playing college football now and am doing well. i came from 1A and some of the athletes i faced while playing for jo byrns are more than good enough to play in college but don't get the exposure. i now play with people from Hoover Alabama that played in 6A alabama, football (the biggest and best in the country) and compete with them. they are no better than me. i know REAL football. you have no idea. im still in the game baby doll.
  13. whooooo there nelley. get a grip on reality. just because they won one game in the playoffs and beat jb in the last second of the game by less than a td does not mean that they dominate 1A. at this level, the playoffs, anybody can loose on any given night. and how dare you tear down cascade fans. what gave you the right. yeah every team has some obnoxious fans, and you know what i might be one. but there are some darn good ones fans too. i think you might need to learn what "class" means before you go posting on here. don't get to far outside of your "safety net" little miss. im being nice but i will be unbiased and brutally honest next time. don't talk bad about cascade fans, especially on here. i like every one of them and i will defend them and make you look stupid.
  14. i agree. i graduated with ryan and i remember what happened at my very last hs game at mtp. i wish you would have gotten your hands on them. but i have never witnessed or heard of that kind of stuff at jb. and never experienced it at any other field except for my and ryan's senior year at cascade. jo byrns has a lot of class indeed. thats why i love it. high class hicks. it doesn't get any better.
  15. the 06 mtp line was very good. i played against them.
  16. I love you..............you say what i think but have no place to say because I am not a MTP fan. I played against MTP in the quarterfinals twice with Marko Dailey at the helm and even though marko won those games by himself the coaching staff constructed a lot of support for him on offense and made a very good defense. kudo's to the coaches for getting mtp in the playoffs for so many years in a row. some teams would kill to just get into the playoffs. grow up mtp fans. on a different note to a select few fans. quit being so disrespectful. when i played there on my last game of my senior year in the "jungle" i had mtp fans throwing popcorn on me and telling me that i stunk, even though i started both ways and am now playing college football. not the nicest people i have ever met and your giving mtp a bad name. and most of the people i met there were very nice. but you select few give mtp a bad name. to you few grow up. i was 18 and was more mature than you, who looked like they were in their 30's-40's. and mcewen reported on the same things. support the kids playing, because they deserve better than to be taunted and have food thrown at them. don't blow up on me mtp fans this is just what happened to me. and one of my buddies, who plays for mcewen, told me that mtp fans were telling them that they stunk as they walked into the locker room for halftime. just wanted to get that out there. once again. i am telling the truth so don't blow up on me. good luck to region 5 in the upcoming week.
  17. jo byrns probably has one of the best defensive coaches in the state. i think Steel Curtain is appropriate. look at how much has been scored against us this year. then ask how many of those points were against the second and third team. don't underestimate an extremely fast defense my friend. good luck region 5
  18. I have no doubt that in time MTCS will be a powerhouse and a dynasty. they are arguably the best coached team in region 5 and maybe the state. i said arguably which means that it is just an opinion so don't jump on me. give this coach a couple of years to get the weight program goin and get some athletes in there and it will be a sight to see.
  19. things might have changed since i played against them in 05 and saw film on them in 06 but those two years their offense was PLAIN! and thats why they lost and didn't get to far into the playoffs. but good luck to all. and i hope wc has a new playbook or it will be a long night
  20. I hope Cascade can win because I see them as a better match-up in the semi's but the only thing i really care about is a region 5 team in the semi-finals and then in the boro. if that happens i don't care who is there.
  21. no region 6 team except mtp has been able to handle jbhs in the past. some teams just have your number. wchs has a very plain offense and defense. they will not win with their current scheme. they are gonna have to bring some cats out of the bag. i played them and we let up on them after the first quarter, when they had thier "huge line", "massive recievers", "great quarter back", and "top ten rushing RB". the RB was actually very good so i really can't talk to much about him. but if the coach would have had a better scheme for his rb they would have scored more TD's and the #2 rusher in the state might have had a better night than 46 yards and a TD. Unless you have a player like Marco Dailey you have to have a great scheme and some trick plays up your sleeve. and i have never seen any come out of WC. thats just my opinion on that matter and I am in no way saying who will win. my honest and unbiased opinion on that will come later.
  22. the EXACT same thing happened to us. we were up by four TD's in the fourth quarter and they really started picking fights and we would get personal fouls too. it wasn't wartrace it was CA. im speaking from experience. I had two personal fouls in that game because guys were hitting me in the nuts, gouging my eyes, and punching me in the stomach. you can only take so much of that before you snap. they try to get your discipline down. our coaches got mad at us because we responded to their crap. he actually pulled us our so we wouldn't get suspended for the next game. i wouldn't worry about it. and also one of their coaches got a personal foul that game too. so i think that CA coaches their kids to act like that. plus they all do that stuff. so it has to be coached. but thats just my opinion from a game i started both ways in from 2005. don't put to much clout on it.
  23. congrats to MTCS for a great season and a playoff run and congrats to Wayne Co. for a good win. MTCS work hard and next year we can have a sweep for region 5. im proud of you guys and what you have done in the short time your program has been competitive. Keep up the good work and prepare for next season. offseason wins championships.
